PORTLAND - A small plane crashed into a vacation home on the Oregon coast yesterday, killing at least four people, including two children inside, officials said. Authorities were searching for a third child in the smoldering wreckage of the house in the popular vacation town of Gearhart, according to City Administrator Dennis McNally (Reuters)."

Aeronautic officials are investigating why a small plane crashed and another was forced to make an emergency landing in southern Rhode Island last weekend. The first plane crashed Saturday morning in the Pawcatuck River after it lost power while approaching Westerly Airport. A spokesman for the Federal Aviation Administration said the pilot suffered minor injuries. Hours later, a small plane carrying sightseers lost engine power and made an emergency landing near the Richmond Airport (AP)."
