What the Boston Globe Ignored Yesterday

This also explains my first post of the day. I peeled open my local last night, and realized what rubbish the Boston Globe really is.

WHAT ELSE are they CENSORING and NOT TELLING US while they sell AGENDA-PUSHING BULLCRAP and LIES?

"Venezuela's Chávez promises oil for Paraguay

President Hugo Chávez of Venezuela has promised Paraguay's new leftist president a steady supply of fuel to prevent shortages that could cause civil unrest. President Fernando Lugo will receive "all the oil Paraguay needs" from Venezuela, Chávez said Saturday.

Chávez has used his nation's oil wealth to send subsidized crude to like-minded and poverty-stricken countries across Latin America and the Caribbean, and has even sold discounted heating oil to poor families in New England and other parts of the United States through the Venezuelan-owned refining company Citgo Petroleum.

That's where I get my gas!!!

:-)

Yeah, the agenda-pushing, demonizing, enemy-creating AmeriKan MSM wouldn't want you to know what a good guy Chavez is (as a Mass. resident, I have benefited from the guys kindness while Bush and his oil buddies made record profits and raped us).

Of course, it is no surprise the Globe would
ignore this next article (although I found it strange that their qebsite carried it and not the paper. Hmmm).

"Both side gear up for fight on income tax repeal" by Steve LeBlanc, Associated Press Writer | August 16, 2008

BOSTON --Supporters and opponents of the ballot question eliminating the statewide income tax are gearing up for a fight for votes this fall, raising money and rounding up volunteers.

While neither side will say how much money they've raised or spent so far this year -- they'll have to disclose both early next month -- both campaigns say they're confident they'll have enough to make their case to the public.

"We will have what we believe is necessary to defeat this reckless proposal," said Steve Crawford, a chief strategist for Gov. Deval Patrick and spokesman for the Boston Teachers Union. Crawford is helping organize the opposition to the question.

Screw you, looter!!!!!

Crawford says opponents don't plan to make the same mistake they did six years ago when the question was first placed on the ballot. Back then critics largely ignored the question, which was defeated by a narrow margin. This time a coalition of unions, businesses, and civic groups are planning a full-on campaign against the measure.

Translation: That vote will be rigged, with a massive propaganda campaign behind the claim.

FYI, I am a former lefty who always bought the bullshit -- NOT THIS TIME!!!!

"People have learned their lesson from the last time," Crawford said. "We understand that people are frustrated with the economy, frustrated with the situation with foreclosures and the price of gasoline. We are concerned that that frustration might be reflected at the ballot box."

I'm frustrated with the STATE LOOTING!!!

Here are some STARTERS: Taxpayer $$$ for social services for the illegals and to pass out to rich Hollywood folk, Wall Street, corporations, favored client and BANKS.

Then type in"Massachusetts looting" into my blog and scroll down.

Supporters of the question are also aware that times have changed since 2002. They hope the state's squishy economy, rising energy costs and lingering jitters over the foreclosure crisis -- combined with an overall skepticism about state government -- will provide fertile territory for a voter revolt.

It is ALREADY HERE, America, because I'M ONE OF THEM!!!!

Carla Howell, chairwoman of the Committee For Small Government, wouldn't say how much money the group has on hand to push the initiative, but said they'll be able to make their case, although she said she expects to be outspent.

Libertarians and people who care about freedom are always outspent.

It is the NATURE of the BEAST!

"People are hurting in this state. The economy is still in rough shape and that is going to motivate people to vote yes on Question One," she said. "Clearly our opposition is going to outspend us considerably. We are hoping to raise as much as we can."

The committee raised just over $203,000 during 2007 to help gather enough signatures to secure a slot on the November ballot. An Associated Press review of campaign finance reports filed with the state found the group relied heavily on out-of-state donors. Of the $192,000 in itemized donations to the campaign, about $133,000, or 69 percent came from outside Massachusetts.

SO WHAT? Look at the PRO-TAX, AGENDA-PUSHING ASSHOLES START RIPPING INTO the antitax people?!

THEY DESERVE MY ANGER, readers, for this GOD-DAMN INSULTING SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!

How much $$$ did that CAMPAIGN CHEAT PATRICK take in, fuckers?!!!!!!!!!!!

Some of the biggest donors hailed from as far away as California. Five individuals from California contributed a total of about $70,000.

And I say "THANK YOU!"

Howell defended the out-of-state donations, saying the final decision will be in the hands of Massachusetts voters. "All statewide campaigns have out of state donors," she said.

But don't count on the BIASED, AGENDA-PUSHING SHIT MEDIA to point that out!

They just have AXES to GRIND when the position taken doesn't conform to theirs!!!

The proposal would slash the state's revenues, lopping off 40 percent of the money Massachusetts takes in each year, an $11 billion blow that would ripple throughout state government and, critics say, cripple its ability to deliver key services.

Pffft!

The tax money is being STOLEN, STOLEN, STOLEN, anyway, so this argument is just SCARE TACTICS to justify a fixed vote.

But backers say there's a big upside. Not only would state government learn to live on a leaner diet, they say, but taxpayers would give themselves about a $3,600 tax break -- money they could spend as they see fit.

And the elite stinkshits of state government and corporate media WOULDN'T WANT THAT -- tax breaks and taxpayer-funded subsidies and handouts are ONLY for THEM!!!!

Recent polls suggest that neither side can afford to sit on their hands. A WHDH-TV and Suffolk University poll conducted from July 31-Aug. 3 with 400 registered voters, found 50 percent opposed to the question, 36 percent in favor and 15 percent undecided. The poll had a margin of error of plus or minus 5 percentage points.

That smells like a rigged poll right there!

A second poll conducted by WBZ-TV found a much tighter race. When asked "Should Massachusetts continue to have a state income tax?" voters split nearly even, with 47 percent saying "yes" and 45 percent saying "no" -- well within the poll's 4.5 percent margin of error.

That sounds more like it; however, this state is ready to reject the looters -- even the liberal democrats I know are frustrated when I tell them of the looting and waste.

Massachusetts voters have a mixed history of approving tax cuts. They rejected the 2002 question, but in 2000 overwhelmingly backed a proposal to cut the state income tax from 5.95 percent to 5 percent over three years. Lawmakers eventually froze the rate at 5.3 percent.

And with the Globe all in to politics, you wonder why they didn't carry this:

In a fair vote, that thing is toast!

"Forces align against Republicans in Senate races

WASHINGTON (AP) — Even the top Republican in charge of the party's Senate campaigns concedes that the GOP will lose seats this year — the only question is how many.

With President Bush's ratings at rock-bottom, fewer Republicans signing up to vote, and voters nationally gravitating toward Democrats in public polls, the GOP is bracing for defeats in November that will expand Democrats' now razor-thin 51-49 majority in the Senate.

Oh, I see now: For a paper that is promoting McCain, and a MSM that plans to sell us another stolen election, this is not a good story.

Democrats have solid chances of winning five seats, according to strategists in both parties and public polls, and realistic shots at picking off another three to five Republican senators. Republicans have only one good opportunity for replacing a Democrat, in Louisiana.

Like it really fucking matters anymore: DemocraPs, Repuglicans, WHO CARES?

Still the SAME OLD WAR PARTY of LOOTERS!!!!

A quirk of the political calendar — Republicans are defending 23 seats this year to Democrats' 12 — put the GOP at a disadvantage from the start. Worse still, those include five Republican retirements — which typically make it harder to keep a seat — compared to none among Democrats.

The scent of defeat threatens to become a self-fulfilling prophecy: Republican donors are sitting on their hands, giving Democrats a nearly 2-to-1 advantage in fundraising that limits the GOP's ability to defend key seats.

That's strange, because just the other day, the NYT told me Democrats were doing horribly?

"The Republican National Committee is also likely to be substantially more helpful to Mr. McCain than its Democratic counterpart, which has struggled with fund-raising"

So WHICH MSM MOUTHPIECE is LYING, readers?

Democrats are pouring cash into TV advertising and on-the-ground voter mobilization. They're competing aggressively in 11 states, including GOP strongholds like Alaska, North Carolina and Virginia that they hope to convert by translating Barack Obama's appeal to African-American and young voters into wins for Democratic Senate candidates."

And I know the BG covered the Asian floods today; however, my local ran this yesterday:

"Southeast Asia flooding hits cyclone-weary Myanmar

BANGKOK, Thailand (AP) — Severe flooding triggered by torrential rains has struck areas of Myanmar still recovering from a cyclone that killed more than 84,000 people, a state-run newspaper said Saturday.

Residents fled from their homes, schools were closed and rice fields submerged in regions ranging from Karen and Mon states in the southeast to Mandalay in central Myanmar. The water quickly receded and damage to rice fields was not reported, the newspaper said.

In Laos, Foreign Ministry spokesman Yong Chanthalansy said Friday that four people died outside the capital, Vientiane, after being injured in landslides triggered by the flooding. The state news agency KPL said one of the dead was a child.

Speaking by telephone from Vientiane, Yong said that there were reports that the flooding was receding Friday after water levels in the Mekong had reached 44.8 feet, beating the previous record high of 40.61 feet in 1966.

The flooding also cut electricity in some parts of the old royal capital of Luang Prabang, a popular tourist destination, the Web site reported. It added that the main road between Vientiane and Luang Prabang had been cut off by a landslide.

Thailand's national news agency said areas of three northeastern provinces bordering the Mekong River and Laos were badly affected, with flooding causing damage to dikes and thousands of acres of farmland.

In Nong Khai province, more than 1,000 houses were flooded, with some villagers evacuating. Two hospitals were hit and patients and medical supplies were moved to higher ground, the Thai News Agency said. Some 128,000 people in Nakhon Phanom province were also affected, the agency said.

Yeah, why would the Globe want to cover Burmese suffering when the Zionist war rag can bash them instead?

Yeah, the Globe bashed China yesterday in place of this story.

And would it surprise you the Zionist BG ignored Muslims on the march?

"Marchers mourn separatist leader

SRINAGAR, India - Tens of thousands of Muslims marched yesterday in India's portion of Kashmir in honor of a separatist leader killed in recent violence that has rocked the Himalayan region.

The streets were a sea of black protest flags and Islamic green flags as demonstrators filled Srinagar and headed to Pampore, the hometown of Sheikh Abdul Aziz, the leader of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference. He was shot Monday when Indian forces fired into a crowd of protesters.

Security forces yesterday kept their distance from the demonstrators to avoid provoking another deadly clash. In speeches to the crowds gathered at Pampore, separatist leaders demanded that Indian forces leave Kashmir and allow free movement and trade with the Pakistani portion of Kashmir.

Or the worsening situation in Afghanistan?

"Worsening security affecting Afghan aid groups

KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) — Deteriorating security in Afghanistan is making it more difficult for aid organizations to carry out their work, the director of a group that lost four workers in a Taliban attack said Saturday..... ANSO said 2008 was on track to be the deadliest year for aid workers in Afghanistan since the 2001 U.S.-led invasion.

But at least they have been liberated!!!

So WHAT ELSE is the Zionist-controlled, agenda-pushing Boston Globe NOT TELLING US!

And WHAT OF what they ARE?
