The Rabid Russian Bear

I'm really reeling by the divorced-from-reality reporting by the AmeriKan MSM, folks.

It is quite a spectacle and really disheartening.

Defenders become aggressors and vice-versa in the Zionist-controlled AmeriKan MSM!

"Relentless Russia batters Georgia; Rejects calls for cease-fire" by Megan Stack and Borzou Daragahi, Los Angeles Times | August 11, 2008

GORI, Georgia - Russia dismissed signs of a Georgian military retreat and rejected calls for a cease-fire yesterday, pursuing a raging conflict with the former Soviet republic.

A stunned international community scrambled to bring an end to the expanding war, which broke out late last week after Georgian troops attempted to retake the pro-Russian breakaway republic of South Ossetia in a battle that left hundreds dead.

Yesterday, Russia unleashed airstrikes and artillery barrages on Georgian positions in South Ossetia and near the breakaway republic of Abkhazia as well as in cities of the staunchly pro-US former Soviet republic, hitting sites in the capital, Tbilisi, and the garrison town of Gori. Russia also began what appeared to be a naval offensive along Georgia's Black Sea coast.

Despite having retaken control of South Ossetia's capital city of Tskhinvali and facing widespread calls for peace, Russia showed little sign of easing its drive to punish Georgia and humiliate US-educated President Mikhail Saakashvili, 40, who is despised by Moscow's leadership.

Russian officials accused Georgia of regrouping its forces in preparation for a counterattack. Early today, dozens of Georgian tanks and vehicles carrying troops passed through Gori, heading north toward South Ossetia.

And the Georgians said they were pulling out!!!

Yesterday, Moscow expanded the fighting to Tbilisi, twice bombing the Tbilaviastroi plane factory on the city's outskirts.... The factory produces upgraded Georgian Sukhoi Su-25 combat planes, which Georgia used to bomb South Ossetia's capital.

Russian-backed warplanes, artillery units, and commandos loyal to the government of Abkhazia also began attacking Georgian positions around Zugdidi, a Georgian city near that separatist republic.

The bias gets to me after a while, and when you consider the source (a Zionist-controlled, agenda-pushing War Daily) you can see which worldview they are propagating here.

It's easy once you know what you are looking for.
