Opening the Olympics

I was up early and watched much of the opening ceremonies. It nearly brought a tear to my eye when I saw how happy the Chinese people were, how amazing their choreography and performances where, and how beautiful the Chinese people are. The children that brought out the flag and performed in the ceremonies were adorable!

If you just read the Zionist-controlled AmeriKan MSM, all you think is the Chinese are a bunch of dirty and oppressive assholes trying to pawn off poisoned crap to make a buck off us. Now some of that is true, but we so seldom see the other side of China.

Besides, it is USrael that is the aggressor nation on this planet now. That's the true threat to peace, not the Chinese who are authoritarian, yes, but who have a deeper understanding of harmony and karma than Americans.

And then I hit my War Daily websites and am greated with this:

BEIJING (AP) -- A man attacked two American tourists, killing one and injuring the other, at an ancient landmark in Beijing on the first day of the Olympic Games on Saturday, then leapt to his death from the structure, state media reported.

The attack occurred just hours after competition started for the Olympic Games, a source of national pride for China which has also imposed unprecedented security measures in the capital to prevent protests or other trouble.

I must confess, I'm a bit bummed out by this tragedy.

Can't anything in this world remain untainted by death?
