Occupation Iraq: Mashpee Memorex

This is the fourth time this week the Globe has run a story about this guy in its unabashed war promotion (wars THEY BROUGHT YOU based on LIES they NEVER APOLOGIZED FOR and LIES they CONTINUE to TELL)!!

Now, that is not to say the war dead should not be respected and get the coverage they are due (we don't see enough of the cost as it is, thank you, MSM).

But what about this
vet, or these kids, Globe? Or these kids? Why are they just one more in a long line of one-day wonders?

Why are some kids more important than others, Globe?

"Mashpee grieves, urges others to be like Marine; McGuire is praised for serving country" by Tania deLuzuriaga, Globe Staff | August 24, 2008

CENTERVILLE - As a child, Marine Private First Class Daniel McGuire dreamed of being a superhero. And in the eyes of those who loved him, he died one when he was killed while on duty in Iraq.

Hundreds gathered at Christ Chapel yesterday to celebrate the life of a young Mashpee man who served others. "He died doing what he believed God had created him for and called him to do," said the Rev. Thomas Crumb.

God called him to slaughter Iraqis and occupy their country for Bush's delusions of empire?

McGuire, 19, died Aug. 14 after he was attacked by unknown insurgents while on watch near Fallujah. He had been in Iraq since March and was scheduled to come home in November. He was buried yesterday in a private service at Bourne National Cemetery.

Sometimes I wonder if they were Blackwaters or Mossad.

McGuire's death has rattled this close-knit Cape Cod town, which is also mourning the loss of a serviceman killed the day after McGuire, Army Private First Class Paul Colon, who died in a roadside bombing in Afghanistan. And last year Alicia Birchett, 29, a member of the Mashpee Wampanoag tribe and an Army staff sergeant, was killed Aug. 9 in a noncombat accident.

About 600 people attended a candlelight vigil in honor of slain servicemen last week, and services for Colon are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Christ the King Church in Mashpee.

And I'm sure the Globe will be there to cover that, too.

So when was the last ANTIWAR PROTEST you covered, Globe?

How about the people that want to make sure there ARE NO MORE Dan McGuires, you lying, war-promoting bastards?!!!!!!!!
