LOS ANGELES - Walt Disney Co., the world's biggest theme-park operator, raised ticket prices at its US parks after sales growth slowed in the last quarter.
The price of a one-day adult ticket at Walt Disney World, the company's largest resort, rose $4, or 5.6 percent, to $75 and children's tickets rose 5 percent to $63, according to Disney's website.

Disney last raised prices in August 2007, Rich Greenfield, an analyst at Pali Capital Research, wrote in a report. The company has also raised prices for certain amenities, such as a 50 percent increase for strollers, he wrote.
Disney parks spokeswoman Lisa Haines said the price change reflects the entertainment value the company provides to customers."Translation: We gotta GROW revenues no matter what.
