Hot Fart Mist on Hydrogen

Talk about in-your-face agenda-pushing!

"the chances of driving a hydrogen car are slim in the immediate future... Most manufacturers say they don't expect to have models in showrooms until sometime between 2010 and 2015"

Then WHY is it a SECTION-LEADING PIECE?

PFFFFFFFTTT!

"State's first hydrogen refueling facility powers up; Billerica station also start of tour to push alternative energy" by Erin Ailworth, Globe Staff | August 12, 2008

Working the pump at a service station isn't the type of job most people would describe as a dream come true.

Yeah, unless you are a woman in India !!!

The agenda-pushing Zionist MSM sure is something, aren't they?

But then, the PowerTap in Billerica isn't just any old pit stop: It's the state's first hydrogen refueling station. So when a string of vehicles rolled through the PowerTap for the first time yesterday, it marked the culmination of more than a decade of work for William Mitchell and his peers at Nuvera Fuel Cells, whose US corporate headquarters is also in Billerica. The company makes hydrogen fuel cells and operates the new refueling station.

"A fuel cell is like a battery because it makes electricity, but unlike a battery you don't charge it up," said Mitchell, who was on hand to celebrate the milestone. "As long as you give it oxygen from the air and hydrogen from a bottle, it creates electricity."

Nine cars were each filled with hydrogen fuel equal to 25 gallons of gasoline, said Mitchell, Nuvera's vice president of marketing and sales.

The vehicles - including those resembling a Honda Accord, a BMW 7 Series sedan, and an oversized Smart car - are part of a 13-day cross-country road tour meant to showcase hydrogen power as the latest in alternative fuel technology. Advocates say the vehicles' only emission is water vapor, and that drivers can fuel up for what amounts to about $3 per gallon of gasoline.

That's not much of an improvement at all!!!!

But unless you live in Southern California - where many of the nation's 60 or so hydrogen fueling stations are located - the chances of driving a hydrogen car are slim in the immediate future. Most manufacturers say they don't expect to have models in showrooms until sometime between 2010 and 2015.

"The trick is to get the fueling stations and the vehicles in the same states at the same time," said Patrick Serfass, director of technology and communication for the National Hydrogen Association, an industry and research organization. "Folks aren't going to buy hydrogen vehicles if there's not a convenient way to fuel up."

Yup, all enviroed-up and NOWHERE to FUEL UP!!!!

But while building enough stations to make hydrogen-powered vehicles feasible for consumers presents a major challenge, producing the fuel itself should not be difficult, according to Brad Bradshaw, the president of the Massachusetts Hydrogen Coalition, a group that works to promote the state's hydrogen fuel industry.

This is going to turn out like the ethanol debacle, isn't it?

"You can produce hydrogen from landfills, from wastewater treatment plants," he said.

Here, let me add to the supply:
