And even curiouser (another Clinton killing?)
"Police seek motive in killing of Ark. Democratic Party chief
We're learning more about the man who's accused of killing Arkansas Democratic Party Chairman Bill Gwatney yesterday in Little Rock.
WTHV-TV reports that Timothy Johnson, 50, stormed out a Target store yesterday morning after supervisors complained about graffiti that had been written on the walls of his workplace.
"In regards to the suspect, we can confirm he was an hourly employee at the Conway, Arkansas [sic] Target store since November 2006," the company says in a statement cited by WTHV-TV, a fellow Gannett property. "He voluntarily quit his job earlier this morning. He had no history of behavioral or performance problems at Target. In the preceding days, he worked his regularly scheduled shifts without incident.
Police say they have no idea why Johnson then drove to Little Rock and shot the Democratic leader...

I do!!!! I know, I know, I'm a "conspiracist"; however, after all that you know, all that you've seen, after all that is uncovered upon investigation... is it that far-fetched?
The government and Bush lied about Iraq; what makes you think they aren't lying about 9/11 (which , indeed, they are).
And curiouser still, readers:
"Police seek motive in Arkansas slaying; Links between shooter, victim called unclear" by Jon Gambrell, Associated Press | August 15, 2008
SEARCY, Ark. - The killer of Arkansas' Democratic Party chairman had written his victim's name on a Post-It note and had two sets of car keys from his victim's car dealership, but links between the men and a motive for the slaying remained a mystery to investigators yesterday.
Police said Timothy Dale Johnson, 50, also owned at least 16 guns, had antidepressant pills and made out a will before shooting Bill Gwatney on Wednesday at party headquarters in Little Rock. He had driven there more than 30 miles after losing his job at a Target store over some graffiti written on a store wall.
The SSRI FLAG just went up and I thought I heard a tweet!!!
The name "Gwatney" and a telephone number were written on a Post-It note found in Johnson's home, police said.
That, too, is AWFUL STRANGE!
After Johnson was killed in a shootout with police, officers found two guns in his pickup truck. Court documents show officers searching Johnson's home found 13 long guns, a pistol and a prescription antidepressant.
Until Wednesday morning, when he wrote profanity-laced graffiti on a store wall and was questioned by supervisors, Johnson had been a good employee in a stockroom, Target spokeswoman Brie Heath said yesterday.
Meanwhile, Johnson's neighbors were stunned that the same man who tilled in a garden behind his home and walked his beagle to the end of the one-lane road each day could be a killer.
"Honestly, it was a shocker," said Helen Mowrer, 73. "You don't ever know about people, but that's the last thing in the world I would have ever considered."
Ripe red tomatoes sat on the two steps leading up to a sliding glass door at the back of Johnson's home, likely picked from the tomato stalks still up among his row of vegetables and flowers in the back.
Neighbor Jeannie Liles said Johnson would bring tomatoes, squash and peppers by their house next door. And he just all of sudden snapped, huh?
