I want you to look around your home; apartment, house, it doesn’t matter. I want you to look around and imagine a sheriff’s deputy or two at your door waiting impatiently for you to pack a few things and get out. It’s not the deputy’s fault; they have 10 more such evictions to attend today alone.
Yes, you had “ample” time, but you kept thinking you could avoid this; you could stop it. You had to think that, for your wife, for your kids, for yourself. Because that is what you would think; like everyone else.
700 families loose their homes everyday in California alone. That’s just one state. One.
Watch this video. This is what the sub-prime lenders did to American families, as they raked in profits on loans that they knew would end up defaulting and what they called “liar loans”. Those criminals, those fraudulent lenders and the banks that profited from the misery they peddled, are the ones Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, John McCain, and Barack Obama just helped bailout… with your money.
The people that did this to 700 families a day, in California alone, are the ones waking up today hung over after celebrating all night. The “credit crisis” was a scam; Kucinich admitted as much on Democracy Now. Now, I want you to watch this video, look around your home again, and try to figure out just what would be left behind and what you would put in the car with you and your family.
