The News Today is Not Good

"FLASHBACK - Osama bin Laden: A dead nemesis perpetuated by the US government
Webmaster's Commentary:

I am posting this again because the news today is not good.

As expected, the G-7 meeting in Washington DC did not produce any concrete results. Public statements were issued about what should be done, but no concrete suggestions on how it could actually be accomplished were forthcoming.

Now the leaders of Europe are meeting in Paris to plan how to unlink their own economies from that of the US; a kind of de-globalism as survival mechanism. I expect Asia is doing the same as I type this.

Unlike 1929, the US Government has already lost the trust of the American people even before the scale of the disaster hits. The US military, already worn down and tired from two pointless wars, will have no better success enforcing martial law in the streets of America than they do in Iraq or Afghanistan.

The US Government cannot survive a total collapse of the economy.

They are desperate, and desperate governments sometimes take desperate gambles (gambling is how Wall Street got into this mess, remember?). Despite a highly skeptical population, the Bush White House, somewhat out-of-touch with main street (to put it delicately), might still convince itself that a bomb, or anthrax from Osama bin Laden and "Al Qaeda (nudge nudge wink wink)" might scare Americans into supporting the government one final time.

So, just a reminder that pretty much everything the government and the corporate media have been telling you is pure bovine excrement moosepuckey! And a real whopper might be served up in the next 24-48 hours." -- Webmaster of Wake the Flock Up
