The Boston Globe's Animal Kingdom

With everything going on in this world, I am in fact insulted that the Globe wastes space and ink with storks, sharks, a bear, and bees!

Oh, wait, that last one could be important.

MARBLEHEAD - Stephanie Scogland's eyes opened wide yesterday as she described how people reacted to more than 1,000 angry honeybees that took over her neighborhood after escaping from a local beekeeper's hive.

During the past three weeks, beekeeper Paul Price said, his bees had become increasingly aggressive.

Residents had to stay inside until nightfall when the bees finally gathered at beekeeper Paul Price's home. He captured them and destroyed them in his basement, he said."
