"HEBRON, West Bank, June 27 (Reuters) - Israeli forces killed a Palestinian teenager during a raid into the occupied West Bank on Friday, local residents and medical workers said.
The residents said the 17-year-old was killed while confronting Israeli troops who raided the village of Beit Umar, near the West Bank city of Hebron."

How would they know what the militant factions said if no one claimed responsibility?

But if Hamas does not stop the rockets and if more Israelis are hurt, Israel could launch retaliatory strikes that would lead to a complete collapse of the cease-fire.

Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni called for retaliation for the attacks, saying Israel would hold Hamas responsible for violations by the militant factions.
