The Boston Globe's World Today

All Muslim, can you believe it?

Either it is minimized in a brief, or they try to hide things there.

Whatever.

"32 militants killed in gun battles

KABUL - Troops fought gun battles and called in air strikes against insurgents in Afghanistan, killing 32 militants, the US-led coalition said yesterday. Attacks elsewhere killed five workers for a construction firm and a police officer, while a British soldier died when his vehicle overturned. The major battle began when militants attacked Afghan and coalition troops Thursday (AP)."

Looks like the old BODY COUNTS are making a comeback (who knows who the US-led coalition murdered yesterday).

Notice how western deaths and injuries are always significantly more important?

Hindu settlement plan draws protests

SRINAGAR - Tens of thousands of demonstrators paralyzed cities in Indian-controlled Kashmir yesterday with protests against what they charge is a government plan to build Hindu settlements to change the religious balance in the Muslim-majority region. Police used tear gas and fired into the air to disperse the crowds, which assembled for a sixth straight day. Three people have been killed and hundreds injured (AP)."

India is like such a little Israel these days!

The Israeli-India Terror Shop

Notice how the MSM keeps those protests quiet, too?

First I've heard about this and I generally buy the Globe everyday.

"Apartment bomb kills 1, wounds 28

BEIRUT - At least one person was killed and 28 others wounded early yesterday when a bomb ripped through an apartment building in the northern Lebanese city of Tripoli. The explosion occurred in the Bab el-Tabaneh district, which was the scene of fierce sectarian fighting last week. Sunni Muslim residents in the area, who support the government, clashed with supporters of the Hezbollah-led opposition (AP)."

How come I smell
Israel and Mossad all over this stink?

Or is it
Saudi stink I smell?

"Storm kills 14, rips 1,200 homes

BEIJING - Tropical Storm Fengshen has killed at least 14 people in southern China, Chinese the government's Xinhua News Agency said yesterday. The storm hit China last week after killing at least 540 people in the Philippines. Chinese authorities say the storm destroyed more than 1,200 houses and damaged roads, crops, and power lines in Guangdong Province, which abuts Hong Kong. Economic losses totaled $175 million (AP)."

Just what the Chinese needed after the earthquake.

And apparently China has now fallen off the MSM radar screen.

Which makes you question the emphasis when it is there, no?

Hey, how did that article get in the rundown?

"Food shipments to Gaza will resume

JERUSALEM - Israel will allow the resumption of food shipments into the Gaza Strip today after a four-day halt in response to Palestinian rocket attacks, Israeli defense officials said. Defense chiefs have decided to allow 80 truckloads to cross. The shooting death of a Palestinian teenager was reported in the West Bank (AP)."

So which settler or Zionist-agent rocketfire is going to halt that?!

Let me check the Google for an update
.

I guess they are still open (12:06 pm, edt).

This is also a strange item, in that my paper has a brief on Palestinians (not Hamas) being invited to the U.S. for talks.

"Plan to fingerprint Gypsies criticized

ROME - Italy's interior minister has touched off a storm with a proposal to fingerprint Roma people living in camps in Italy, including children. The proposal, made as part of a campaign by Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi's conservative government to crack down on street crime, has drawn accusations of racism and discrimination at home and abroad. But the minister vowed to push ahead with the plan (AP)."

Nawww, it's only racist if it is applied here in America!

Sig Heil, Benito!
