PROVINCETOWN, Mass. --Police say a Provincetown man has been arrested and charged with child rape. Police say 57-year-old Gregory Perkins was arrested on Tuesday based on evidence collected during a six-month investigation. Perkins is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in Orleans District Court on one count each of statutory rape of a child and indecent assault and battery on a child under 14. Prosecutors last week decided not to go forward with a previous child rape charge against Perkins, in part because of the alleged victim's age. The alleged victim was a 5-year-old girl (AP June 18, 2008)."

My first reactions is what angle are they pushing and WHY??
Otherwise WHY IGNORE SUCH OFFENSIVENESS?
