I normally don't post letters that are filtered by Zionist-controlled editorial boards; however, I had to post this one:
"Push to impeach Bush is not limited to Democrats"
THANK YOU for reporting Representative Dennis Kucinich's attempt to bring the impeachment of President Bush to the House floor - a move that was sidelined by Democrats ("Democrats scuttle proposal to impeach Bush ," Page A5, June 12).
However, I must take issue with House Republican spokesman Michael Steel, who said that attempts such as Kucinich's are a product of the "loony left." In fact, such notable Republicans as Paul Craig Roberts, assistant secretary of the treasury under Ronald Reagan, openly advocates impeachment. Former Richard Nixon aide John Dean believes the administration has committed crimes worse than Watergate, and says impeachment is in order. The possibility of impeachment has also been raised, at various times, by Republican Senator Chuck Hagel, former Georgia Congressman Bob Barr (who figured in Bill Clinton's impeachment), and Bruce Fein, formerly of the Reagan Justice Department.
There is no right nor left when it comes to impeachment. It is truly a nonpartisan issue.
