The E.U's Next Move

THEY AREN'T GOING TO LISTEN, but they DON'T want to MAKE IT LOOK LIKE THEY AREN'T LISTENING!!!

"Leaders mull next moves on EU treaty" by Stephen Castle, International Herald Tribune | June 19, 2008

BRUSSELS - Buffeted by Ireland's rejection of the European Union treaty and assailed by protesters angry at rising food and energy costs, EU leaders are to gather today for a summit meeting overshadowed by recriminations over the Irish referendum and accusations that the bloc is failing to address citizens' concerns.

Because it WASN'T MEANT TO!

Protesters who converged on Brussels yesterday, blocking main roads in the city center, highlighted the divergent views within the 27-nation bloc over how to deal with rising food and fuel prices. The coincidence of the Irish vote and protests across Europe against rising commodity costs underlines a loss of confidence among parts of the electorate in the EU's ability to deal with everyday issues.

We NEVER LIKED the GLOBALIST PLAN, anyway, and THEY KNOW IT!

So why is the paper hucking this shitola?

The summit meeting will be dominated by the political crisis created by the Irish no vote on the Lisbon Treaty, but it comes too soon to map out a detailed way forward.

Then WHY have this meeting?!

Fucking papers LIE right to your face!!!

EU leaders hope to agree to keep ratification going in countries where the treaty has yet to be approved.

Translation: We will go over, around, or through you for our damn domination plan!

They may also ask Ireland to outline by October its solution to the impasse.

Why is it IRELAND'S PROBLEM? Sounds like YOURS to me, globalist scum!

But politicians in France and Germany have already blamed the European Commission, the executive body of the EU, for the Irish no vote, arguing that it had been unresponsive to citizens' worries.

It ISN'T MEANT TO BE!!!!

On Monday, the French agriculture minister, Michel Barnier, said on Europe 1 radio that Brussels should have been more responsive to the concerns of fishermen, farmers, and truckers...

On Tuesday, in an apparent reaction to criticism, the commission produced a package of small-scale measures to help the European fishing industry.

But the proposed aid focuses on assistance to those who stop fishing or modernize their boats with fuel-saving equipment, rather than offering cuts in fuel taxes."

Translation: The aid is intended to FURTHER the GLOBALIST PLAN!!!

Pffffttt!

Oh, and maybe we ought not hear the E.U. criticize the U.S. torture policy, since THEY DETAIN, too!!!!

Is there one government around that isn't a hypocritical?

"EU to allow members to hold illegal immigrants for 18 months" by Caroline Brothers, International Herald Tribune | June 19, 2008

STRASBOURG, France - European Union lawmakers voted yesterday to allow countries in the bloc to hold undocumented migrants in detention centers for up to 18 months and ban them from EU territory for five years....

Europe, which has freedom of movement within its 25 Schengen states but no overarching policy on immigration, sees the law as a means to unify a patchwork of systems governing treatment of migrants who overstay their visas or who, in far lesser numbers, slip clandestinely across its borders.

Oh, they have their own border problems, do they?

EU countries currently deal with these migrants by placing them in 224 detention centers, with capacity for 30,871 people, across the bloc.

But they aren't secret like AmeriKa's CIA torture chambers?

The length of their confinement varies from 32 days in France to 18 months in Germany. In eight EU countries there is no upper limit on detention. European legislators visiting Denmark in April said they were concerned about some detainees who had been held for eight years...."

EIGHT YEARS!!!!!!

That's LONGER than ANYONE Bush has held!

Blow it out your ass, Euro-snobs!!!!!!
