"Another Controversy for Sarah Palin; Former Police Chief Says He Was Fired for Challenging Palin's Campaign Contributors"
by BRIAN ROSS and JOSEPH RHEE
Sept. 3, 2008—
Gov. Sarah Palin is already facing ethical questions over her firing of the Alaska public safety commissioner, and now she faces questions over the firing of a longtime local police chief.
After taking over as Mayor of the small town of Wasilla, Palin fired the longtime local police chief. The former police chief, Irl Stambaugh says he was fired because he stepped on the toes of Palin's campaign contributors, including bar owners and the National Rifle Association.
We don't need this kind of politician with a personal vendetta in Washington!
We have enough of those now!
Stambaugh's lawyer, William Jermain, says the chief tried to move up the closing hours of local bars from 5 a.m. to two a.m. after a spurt of drunk driving accidents and arrests. "His crackdown on that practice by the bars was not appreciated by her and that was one reason she terminated Irl," said Jermain.

Back when I was partying (decades ago), readers, the only reason you stayed out so late is because of COCAINE!!!!
We already know Ms. Sarah smoked pot.
"Palin said she has smoked marijuana -- remember, it was legal under state law, she said, even if illegal under U.S. law -- but says she didn't like it and doesn't smoke it now."
Is this the NEXT REVELATION we will see?
Blow up the nose?
Need more lies from Mz. Sarah?
Sarah Palin's Strange eBay Exaggeration
".... One strange Sarah Palin falsehood, which she acclaimed as truth yesterday and the campaign reaffirmed tonight in video was that she successfully auctioned a private jet she deemed unnecessary for the State of Alaska to maintain on eBay....
So why on earth would Palin lie about this, knowing that it would bring scrutiny to this story, and knowing that the scrutiny would reveal that a) the auction wasn't successful, b) she lost the State of Alaska's money on the deal, and c) the state's valuable resource had basically become a luxury for wealthy elites? I have no idea! But whatever! It's definitely not the worst lie she's ever told."
I'm just waiting for the next one, which should come about the next time she opens her mouth!
