A Palestinian child was killed by Israeli occupation forces gunfire in the Tiqua village east of Bethlehem in the West Bank Saturday afternoon.
The boy, Hassan el-Abed, 17 died immediately after being struck in the chest with an ary bullet at a short range, local sources reported. The sources added that Israeli soldiers opened fire at stone-throwing children in the village after they invaded the village. One soldier from the border police shot at the group of young boys and killed al-Abed on the spot.
