Israel's Shields

I'm not going to comment much here because I will just start swearing at this type of conduct.

Once again it takes the
bloggers to dig this stuff up:

"Israel continues to use civilians as human shields"

"Resident Sameer Abu Khweira from Khallit Al Amoud area in the northern West Bank city of Nablus reported on Wednesday that Israeli soldiers forced him and his brother to accompany them as the soldiers broke into two homes.

If you want to see the photo of the Israelis using him, go
here

Sameer stated that on Wednesday at approximately 2:20 A.M, soldiers broke into his home and forced him and his brother Sa'id to walk in front of them as they broke into two houses in the area.

He added that he, his brother and their uncle had to stand in the cold weather for more than 30 minutes and were used as human shields as the soldiers broke into nearby houses, searched them and kidnapped four residents.

Sameer also said that this act subjected them to danger as the soldiers were carrying out military acts while using them as Human Shields.

At least 23 residents were kidnapped by the army in Nablus on Wednesday at dawn and during the early morning hours.

I'm waiting for AmeriKa's MSM to get all over this, much like they are focused on China.

Bet I'll be waiting a long time, huh?

:-(

The Israeli Information Center For Human Rights in the Occupied Territories, B'Tselem, previously published a report which included testimonies from residents who were used as human shields in spite of a ban issued by the Israeli High Court of Justice.

One of the incidents took place in 25 February 2007 when Israeli soldiers used two children and their uncle as Human Shields. The two children, aged 11 and 15, in addition to a 25-year old resident, were forced to walk in front of the soldiers and their jeeps during the "Operation Warm Winter" Offensive.

All I can think of to say is OUTRAGEOUS!!!

Aaaaaaaaaaaahhh!

B'Tselem filed an appeal to the Israeli Military Prosecutor and demanded a probe into the issue.

On 6 October 2005, the High Court of Justice ruled that it was illegal for the army to use Palestinian civilians during military actions.

The decision was made on a petition that the Israeli Information Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories (B'Tselem) and six other human rights organizations filed in 2002.

Please, God, bless these good people who are working and crying from the belly of the beast!

The petition followed the army's use of Palestinian civilians as human shields since the beginning of the second intifada, primarily during IDF operations carried out in Palestinian population centers, as occurred in Operation Defensive Shield, B'Tselem reported.

Using civilians is an international banned measure which constitutes a War Crime and is only formally banned by Israeli law, yet the army uses civilians as human shields and ignores international law."

I mean, this does it for me. I just can't abide by the existence of the crappy little state if it is going to insist upon these atrocious actions.

I'm just shaking my head, readers!

It's against international law, hell, its against Israeli law for crying out loud!

And yet, the VIOLATIONS CONTINUE and the West is silent!

Where was this story on the War Daily web sites?

Where are you, AmeriKan MSM?

"The Israeli military has shelled an area of Gaza City, following an attack by Palestinian fighters at the Nahal Oz crossing in the northern part of the territory.

Raed El-Erini, a spokesperson at the Al Shifa Hospital in Gaza, said that at least three people were killed when a house in the Al Shegaeya neighbourhood was hit.
Six people were reportedly injured.

Two Israeli civilians and two Palestinian fighters were killed in an exchange of fire after the Palestinians stormed the crossing, which is mainly used for the transit of fuel, earlier on Wednesday, Israeli police and medics said....

The military said it launched the raid on Wednesday morning near Khan Younis in response to shootings and other anti-Israel activity in the area of the border fence.

The Israeli air force also conducted air raids in the area in support of the operation that the army said was aimed at preventing attacks near the barrier between Gaza and Israel.

On Tuesday, an Israeli missile attack in northern Gaza killed a member of the Popular Resistance Committees. Another two people were wounded in the strike at a cemetery east of the town of Jabaliya.... "
