Sucking Americans Dry

As if you need any more evidence of how deceptive AmeriKa's MSM is, look at how they frame the price-gouging oil scum debate:

"Top oil executives resist tax increase"

I'm almost afraid to analyze this one.

Just remember that OIL COMPANIES are making RECORD PROFITS in the BILLIONS AS you FILL UP, readers.

Let's see how much coverage the MSM gives that.

"by Bloomberg News | April 2, 2008

WASHINGTON - Executives from the world's top oil companies, in a congressional hearing yesterday, told US lawmakers that competition and high costs justify the industry's opposition to higher taxes.

Representative Edward Markey, a Massachusetts Democrat, called on chief executives from the oil industry to testify on record profits and gasoline prices before his Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Warming.

Just like Congress -- too little, too late and ALL HOT FART MIST!

When they ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING, then I'll listen!

The House passed a measure in February over oil-industry objections that would impose $18 billion in new taxes on oil and gas companies to pay for wind and solar projects and energy conservation measures. The industry argues that the money should go toward exploring for and producing more fossil fuels, which executives say could help bring down prices....

I'm sick of the game of fooleys, readers!

Those taxes will be passed on to us, and the so-called solutions are from those who gave us the alleged problems!

Unless they want to make the energy available massively and cheaply, then this is all hot fart mist!

The hearing took place a day after the Energy Department reported the average cost of regular gasoline was a record $3.29 a gallon.

Like Congress does everything -- after!

The top five oil companies - BP, Shell, Exxon Mobil, San Ramon, Calif.-based Chevron Corp., and ConocoPhillips - reported combined 2007 profits of $123 billion....

Wow, they did mention it, although only briefly!!!! That's $123 BILLION with a "B," readers?

Maybe you ought to put that gas hose in your mouth and drink some, 'murkns!!!!

Or, more appropriately, stick it up your ass and PUMP AWAY!!!!

The hearing is probing the industry's fight against the House proposal for new taxes to promote alternative energy. Though Markey's committee has no authority to advance bills, it's laying the groundwork for legislation that would cut planet-warming emissions of greenhouse gases from fossil-fuel use.

See, HOT FART MIST from the globalist crowd!!!!

Markey took Simon to task for investing $100 million on renewable energy, while raking in $40 billion in profit last year. "You can't have it both ways," Markey said. "You can't on the one hand be nickel and diming renewables at Exxon Mobil and at the same time be recording $40 billion in profits."

"Putting more money into something does not necessarily equal progress," Simon said....

Unless it is BANKS and OCCUPATIONS based on LIES!!

But when it comes to anything else here in AmeriKa -- schools, bridges, health care, etc. -- yeah, money doesn't make a difference.

I don't know about you, America, but my ass is sore!
