The mean-spiritedness of Israelis knows no bounds. If they shut down the orphanage, where will the children go? Of course, for neo-nazi Israelis it is ample justification to do whatever they please by suggesting that "Muslim/Islamic" organizations are fair game for suppression. And what about the reaction of "western" governments or media? It seems that to them this is not happening at all; it is not an issue of not knowing, but one of turning a blind eye. For the US, UK, French, German and Dutch governments, they have basically given a tacit approval of the continued ethnic cleansing of Palestinians. The orphanage in Hebron is merely standing at the cutting edge of the current Israeli ethnic cleansing campaign.

And what about the Palestinian "Authority"... they must be awaiting their 30 pieces of silver.

The Popular Committees slams army attack against a Hebron orphanage

Tuesday April 01, 2008 by IMEMC News

The Palestinian Popular (Folk) Committees issued a press release on Monday slamming the Israel Army’s attack against an orphanage in Al Salaam Street in the southern West Bank city of Hebron.

The Committees stated that soldiers invaded the areas and broke into The Charitable Home for Female Orphans and searched all of its floors and rooms.

Recently the Israeli Authorities issued an order to confiscate all the belongings of the orphanage but the legal period for appealing and implementing the order ends in two days.

Azmi Shiokhy, secretary-general of the Popular Committees, stated that nearly 200 orphans are living in the orphanage, and that they are students at the school which belongs to the Islamic Charitable Society.

The Islamic Charitable Society is now the only shelter which remained for the orphans, yet the Israeli Authorities are threatening to shut it down and confiscate its properties.

Al Shiokhy slammed the attack and appealed Human Rights groups to intervene as dozens of orphans in Hebron district will be rendered homeless."
