Here is what I thought of the ABC New Hampshire debate.
The DemocraPs are on now, but I'm not watching.
Here is what I thought of the candidates tonight, in what passes for "debate" in this country.
Ron Paul: Obviously, I was for the man. I admit it. What I didn't like was the snickering, etc, about his alleged extreme positions and all. Considering the condition this country is in, how the hell is he extreme? Rather than rely on the screwed-up MSM debate format, read the transcript of Dr. Paul's interview with Bill Moyers, reader.
John McCain: Typically rabid McCain with the endless war talk. He's the child and favorite of Israel now, so I expect him to win Tuesday night (in the rigged count. I believe Ron Paul will be the true winner. It would prove out history, readers). Anyhow, his continuing to push the wars really bothered me, as well as the gleeful attitude he took towards the personal sparring. I've heard McCain is an angry asshole in private, and his YouTube gaffs (like the "bomb, bomb Iran and "Hillary is a bitch" spots) seem to float right on by the MSM. And when was the last time they mentioned McCain's involvement in the "Keating Five" S & L scandal?
Mitt Romney: Honestly, I'm not a big Mitt fan. I thought he was a lousy, carpet-bagging, election-stealing, stepping-stone governor, but the attacks on all sides on him tonight (save Ron Paul, who kept quiet and attacked no one) really made me feel for the man. Who cares about his religion, who cares about his slickness, who likes to be ganged up on?
Every time Mitt turned around, some one was hitting him in the face! I don't even like the guy's positions, but give me a break. Mitt had to take INSULTS tonight, and as a Mormon, he MEANS well. That was just UNFAIR, as I even saw Gibson laughing at the roundhouse blows coming at Romney from all directions.
Another factor is that he has spent his own personal fortune, and came up empty in Iowa. How would you feel if you shelled out that dough? In a way, I would rather support a Romney -- like Ned Lamont, who burned down a good part of his fortune for nothing -- before some bought-off AIPAC whores like McCain, Jewliani or any of the Democrats.
As sad as it is, in AmeriKan politics today the rich man can at least exercise some independence from AIPAC and the War Lobbyists. He may chose not to, but he does have that option. It may get him the JFK treatment, but the option to truly represent the American people and not a foreign power is there.
Think of it, readers. Who is more prone to influence? Some bought-off, paid-for, AIPAC slut, or an independently rich man? Now maybe the motives maybe be nefarious ends to power or greed; however, why would a person waste his fortune for nothing? Think of Lamont: All that money to win the primary, only to spend even more and lose the general! His OWN MONEY, readers! Wouldn't that HURT (especially if it may have been stolen)?
So I felt sympathy and empathy for Mitt Romney tonight, readers, although I didn't vote for him for governor, and I won't be casting my vote for him in the Republican primary on February 5th, either!
That vote goes to Ron Paul!
Mike Huckabee: The front-runner coming out of Iowa played the "aw, shucks" conciliator while taking his shots! Buckahee scares me a little. He says the right things, but the undercurrent of fundamentalism is undeniably there. Buck isn't open about it, he's to smart for that, but he definitely wouldn't appeal to the strain of NE Republicanism needed to win New Hampshire. But Buck's style -- and the free passes by the MSM -- guarantee an easy sell if they want to bump him a bit come Tuesday night. The infamous 5-10 point push the New York Times predicted. And if the Times said it, well, then it must be true!
;-)
Rudy Giuliani: Jewliani the Ghoul!!! This guy is absolutely frightening. Talk about authoritarian tendencies. I can definitely see this guy exercising the dictatorship powers Bush has accumulated (if Bush doesn't invoke them first). The frikkin' war talk, the personal vituperations, the insulting and condescending behavior! I was thinking, this guy using Mussolini as a template? Whatever the DemocraP result, this nation can not afford Rudy as the Republican nominee. New York City hates him, the rest of the country despises the fascist puke, and no way does the Republican party nominate some liberal, New York City mayor! Sorry!
Fred Thompson: Fiery Freddie tonight! At least, part of the time. Other times, he looked like he was semi-conscious. The fact is, everyone wants the mantle of Reagan, but Freddie fits the bill closest. A former actor, not very much interested in politics; however, man, can he read the cue cards! The true Reaganite is Ron Paul, but the MSM won't tell you that! Anyhow, Freddie obviously felt he needed to do some attacking on Romney to bolter the chances of selling his rise in New Hampshire.
That's what this debate seemed to be about, really. Knocking out Romney, and dissing Ron Paul. I can almost see the MSM script come Tuesday. They've already telegraphed it.
And what was really disillusioning was the end when the Dems also came out at the end, and Gibson said we just all have to get behind the next president.
Sounded a bit ominous to me, as if another false-flag 9/11 is brewing somewhere!
And all the candidates hob-knobbing elbows!
WTF?!
Anyhow, here is my prediction (and percentage call) for Tuesday night (at least, what the MSM script will be):
1st -- McCain (36%)
2nd -- Romney (21%)
3rd -- Giuliani (15%)
4th -- Paul (12%)
5th -- Huckabee (9%)
6th -- Thompson (5%)
The spin will be the re-emerging darling of New Hampshire John McCain; the flagging Romney campaign; Rudy's surprise repositioning (credited to advertisements and debate performance); Huckabee's historic and expected fade here (which will dry up what little money and press he's getting); Paul and Thompson will either be also-rans, or asked if they are dropping out.
As for the DemocraPs, I've already written about New Hampshire making Hitlery the "Comeback Queen." Now what bullshit numbers can the MSM sell AmeriKa?
1st -- Clinton (41%)
2nd -- Obama (36%)
3rd -- Edwards (16%)
4th -- Richardson (4%)
Heard it here first, folks!
