"Veterans, relatives preserve memories of those killed in Pearl Harbor attack"

"By Peter J. Howe, Globe Staff | December 8, 2007

But the zeal to remind fellow citizens to "Remember Pearl Harbor" never flags....

Marian Curtis, treasurer of the Freedom Trail Chapter of Pearl Harbor Survivors & Friends, has come to feel a deep sense of calling to honor Dec. 7, especially when she sees a dismaying lack of knowledge among younger generations and schoolchildren about the day 2,390 American sailors, airmen, soldiers, and civilians were killed in just 90 minutes.

Strange.

That's about the same as the death toll of the "New Pearl Harbor," 9/11!

Pamela Fields, of Millbury, of the victims of Pearl Harbor.:

"Those poor guys were killed before they even knew who they were fighting. [It is hard for me to say exactly what inspires me to come every year, but I think of how] children today really have no idea about the loss of that day.

That's right, rip the kids!

A lot of them might understand what war means real soon, though!

That gonna make you happy, bitch?

Although I do lament the kids' lack of interest in history -- coming as it does from a from a college graduate with a history degree.

It's not OK for us to just be comfortable with the way things are. [The terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001 evoked memories of the stunning Pearl Harbor attack six decades earlier] Every day, you just keep vigilant, and you have respect for your country
."

And make sure you Sig Heil!

Umm, lady,
9/11 was an INSIDE JOB, and EVERYBODY KNOWS IT!!!!!
