YOUR PICTURE, readers!

Is this 2007 or 1984, readers?

"Digital Billboards to Show Fugitives"

CLEVELAND (AP) — The F.B.I.’s most wanted bank robbers, violent criminals and terrorists will soon appear on 150 digital billboards in 20 cities nationwide.

The agency has teamed up with Clear Channel Outdoor, based in Phoenix, to begin showing mug shots after a successful test run in Philadelphia that led to several arrests.

Talk about your CORPORATE FASCISM!

One of those arrests was that of a man suspected in the fatal shooting of a Philadelphia police officer, the Federal Bureau of Investigation said Thursday. The man was captured in Florida as a result of exposure on the billboard, it said.

Scott Wilson, a spokesman for the F.B.I. office in Cleveland:

We’ll target very violent, dangerous fugitives.”

At first, anyway.

George W. Bush on the list?

Atlanta, Cleveland, Indianapolis, Los Angeles and Newark are among the cities where the advertising company has electronic billboards along major roads. The company is donating the eight-second digital spots, which will also feature photographs of missing children. It can add new information to the signs within minutes.

Clear Channel Outdoor will pre-empt paid advertising if the F.B.I. needs to broadcast an urgent message, its global president, Paul Meyer, said. This is the first time the F.B.I. is posting its fugitives on billboards."

Business signaling a Sig Heil there!

How come they never care about money and advertising when it comes to fascism, readers?
