The Council on Foreign Relations favored the corrupt would-be leader, Benazir Bhutto, over the brutal dictator, Pervez Musharraf, and her assassination was somewhat of a set-back. As should be expected, the CFR recommends sticking its nose — or rather, the nose of the American people — into the political trap of Pakistan.

According to CFR Senior Fellow Daniel Markey, the “choices open to Washington” include “working with the army and civilian political leaders to manage the removal of President Musharraf,” in other words, for the globalists at the CFR, sinking deeper into the muck is always an option and apparently the preferred option.

Recall the CFR held a “special meeting” back in August to host Bhutto and let her expound about “democracy,” that is to say allow her to wax philosophic on the reinstallation of her kleptocracy.

Back in 2003, a Swiss court convicted Bhutto and her husband, Asif Zardari, of money laundering millions, imposed a “six-month suspended jail term, fined them $50,000 each and ordered they pay more than $2m to the Pakistani Government,” according to the BBC. Judge Daniel Devaud in Geneva “said they had illegally deposited millions of dollars in accounts in Switzerland, and ordered the money be returned to Pakistan.”

“In 1998, Swiss authorities said they found about $13.8 million in Swiss accounts belonging to Bhutto and her family,” reports the San Francisco Chronicle. “Swiss and Pakistani investigators allege much of the money came from Societe Generale de Surveillance, one of the world’s largest customs inspection companies, in exchange for business with the Pakistani government when Bhutto was prime minister in the late 1980s and 1990s.”

As should be expected, these charges of corruption and others in Spain fizzled out. Bhutto was a favored daughter. “General Pervez Musharraf has given Bhutto immunity from prosecution over myriad charges of corruption,” writes Guy Rundle for Crikey. “At the same time he has detained a whole range of alternative opposition leaders from former chief justice Chaudry and hundreds of lawyers, to former cricketer and political leader Imran Khan. Some would suggest he already has a deal that Bhutto will win the election and then grant sinecures to Musharraf and his cronies.”

Obviously, Bhutto was being groomed for a return, as the heavy-handed Musharraf was an embarrassment for the one-worlders. But somebody in Pakistan disagreed, so they killed the convicted criminal Bhutto.

It’s business as usual in the New World Order, as ruthless mobsters jockey for power.

Now the CFR and crew will have to find a new minion to replace the stained Musharraf."

"Connections: How Bhutto Won Washington"

"Although Ms. Bhutto was twice expelled from office on charges of corruption, she kept up her visits to Washington, usually several a year. She would call on administration officials and members of Congress willing to see her as well as reporters and editors at The New York Times, The Washington Post and The Wall Street Journal. Soon her American Christmas card list, excluding people in government and Congress, was up to 375 names.

Like other foreign leaders, Ms. Bhutto engaged a public relations firm to arrange meetings for her with administration officials, members of Congress and journalists. For the first six months of 2007, the firm Burson-Marsteller took in fees of close to $250,000 for work on behalf of Ms. Bhutto."

Well, that explains the AmeriKan MSM and its "news" coverage, readers!

How can we ever believe in them again?
