How MSNBC Mixes Truth With Lies

I don't like the MSM tv networks anymore, and rarely watch them.

"How MSNBC mixes truth with lies"

"Gaza has Hamas, but it also has members of Islamic Jihad, which is connected with Fatah collaborators, and has very loose ties with Iran. Islamic Jihad includes its armed wing, the Al-Quds Brigades. There is also the Al Aqsa Martyrs' Brigade, which is somewhat independent, but also has ties with Fatah.

The Israeli media wants you to confuse all these groups with the democratically-elected Hamas. Israel fears Hamas because Hamas is extremely popular. Why? The Hamas humanitarian network is outstanding (or it was until Israel cut off all funding.)

Israel does not want its puppet Abbas to have any rivals from Islamic Jihad. Therefore last night and today, Israel conducted three air strikes in Gaza, killing nine members of Islamic Jihad, including the leader, Majed Harazin. (Israel also murdered three other Palestinians in southern Gaza today.)

In an e-mail sent to reporters, Islamic Jihad said it would retaliate with "suicide" attacks inside Israel, threatening “a wave of martyrdom operations.”

The Israeli media will blame any such attacks on Hamas. The masses of the world will buy this lie.

Islamic Jihad -- not Hamas -- launches all of the Qassam rockets by its own admission. However the ignorant masses of the world assume that Hamas launches them.

Do you see why Israel fears Hamas so much? Hamas cannot be corrupted. It does not launch rockets. Its spokesmen are refined and educated. They avoid “militancy” because they know it hurts the Palestinian cause -- but when cornered, they are the fiercest Palestinians of all. They are the Hezbollah of Gaza. Hamas is focused on the sheer survival of Palestinians, and is very appealing to the entire world. Therefore Israel must crush Hamas. Once that's done, Israel will betray its puppets (Fatah).

Four Islamic Jihad members were targeted as they emerged from morning prayers Tuesday at a northern Gaza mosque. Six others died when Israeli aircraft blasted two cars in Gaza City after nightfall Monday. QRS provided pictures of the nighttime attack.

Now look at how MSNBC mixes truth with lies…

“Gaza’s militant Hamas rulers aren’t heavily involved in the cross-border attacks (true) but allow other radical factions, including its Islamic Jihad allies (false) to operate with impunity.”

"Allies"?

Israeli government spokesman Mark Regev said that Palestinians who launch rockets (meaning Islamic Jihad) want to sabotage “Israeli-Palestinian peace talks.”

That’s true, because Islamic Jihad knows Fatah has sold them out. Meanwhile Hamas (and all the other Palestinians in Gaza) just want to live in peace – but the media doesn’t want Americans to know that. It merely says “Palestinian militants” fired rockets.

The target of the first Israeli airstrike in Gaza City late Monday was Majed Harazin, a senior Islamic Jihad militant in charge of rocket squads that have been firing at Israel. Harazin was Islamic Jihad’s top commander for the West Bank and Gaza. He rarely traveled in vehicles for fear of an Israeli air strike.

A second Israeli air strike, shortly before midnight, killed four Islamic Jihad members. A third strike, early today, killed four additional members, and wounded four civilians.

In an entirely separate raid, Israelis attacked a Hamas security post in the southern town of Rafah, killing two members of Hamas’ security force.

In January Bush will visit the U.S. headquarters (Tel Aviv) as part of a nine-day swing through the Middle East. Bush will leave Washington on Jan. 8 and return on Jan. 16.

Bush said he is eager to help Fatah, and write a chapter for himself in the book of Middle East diplomacy.

Bush will meet with his bosses, President Shimon Peres and Prime Minister Ehud Olmert. He will also meet with Fatah leader Mahmoud Abbas and Fatah Prime Minister Salam Fayyad in the West Bank.

Bush says a unifying fight is under way against extremism fed by the Palestinian conflict, and the world understands the urgency of acting now.

Now consider this text:

“Since Hamas wrested control from Abbas' Fatah forces, Gaza's 1.5 million residents have been cut off from the world. Unemployment has risen to about 50 percent, forcing poverty up to 75 percent.” Notice how the U.S. media never says, Israel cut off Gaza.

YouTube has videos that show the Castaways, but those clips have poor sound quality, so I’ll embed this one…"

EXCELLENT POST, readers!
