Memory Hole: Bear Story

(Updated: originally published May 15, 2007)

Sometimes I do need to put positive stories up.

Despite the rage (and because of it), this blog is about LOVE!

NON-VIOLENCE and LOVE!!!

It's just a picture on page 2; however, it goes up for obvious reasons:

Caption:
"Treetop Rescue... Florida Fish and Wildlife worker Elina Garrison held a tranquilized black bear cub rescued Sunday from a fire in Osceola National Forest. The cub was found at the top of a pine tree, while the mother was found at the base with severe burns to her paws."

Description: The photo shows the blond-haired, sunglassed-raised woman kneeling and holding the little guy on top of a sleeping bag or something. Several other wildlife workers are crouched over and peering down behind her, and one is reaching out to touch the little bears' rear left paw.

And HOW ABOUT THAT MOM BEAR, huh?

Would not leave her trapped young un!!

Doesn't this story just WARM your HEART and MAKE YOU WANT TO CRY?!!
