Occupation Iraq: Raytheon Rebuilds

Probably for the permanent bases, huh, readers?

"Raytheon wins contract for Iraq work worth up to $70m"

Defense contractor Raytheon Co. said it won a contract worth up to $70 million to provide infrastructure services in Iraq. Raytheon is providing subcontracting services to DRS Technical Services Inc. as part of a contract from the US Army's communications and electronics command. DRS awarded Raytheon a contract valued at $36.2 million in 2008, with a one-year option worth $33.4 million. Under the contract, Raytheon will continue designing, developing, installing, and maintaining command and control, communications, and computing facilities in Iraq (AP May 28, 2008)."

I'm glad the U.S. doesn't need any infrastructure repairs; otherwise, I'd be really angry right now and might swear.

But since AmeriKa is in great shape, why not toss some more $$$ at war-profiteering war contractors, huh?

Don't forget your Sig Heils!!!!
