The War Whore Kyra Phillips

I saw the interview the blogger refers to, and I want to THANK the BLOGGER for VOICING the SAME REACTIONS I HAD!!!

Thank you SO MUCH, blogger!!!

This is one reason I am off MSM these days; I didn't watch any yak-yaks today and I never even looked at the New York Times website.

"Kyra Phillips, CNN's Heartless Pseudo-Journalist"

"CNN hit rock bottom on Wednesday morning, when anchor Kyra Phillips interviewed Ali's doctor in Kuwait, Dr Imad al- Najada explained that, although Ali told reporters he was grateful for his treatment, he also hopes no other 'children in the war will suffer like what he suffered'.

Phillips seemed shocked by Ali's apparent inability to understand we were only trying to help him. 'Doctor, does he understand why this war took place? Has he talked about Operation Iraqi Freedom and the meaning. Does he understand it?

Anybody else notice how THIS IS THE LONGEST QUESTION IN HISTORY OF TELEVISION INTERVIEWS.

Kyra, the Playboy Bunny propagandist:

"IRAN is a tremendous problem in this country, (...) Iranian president came here (...) this is not someone you would want to shake hands with and look in the eye; the bush administration has referred to IRAN as the axis of evil, BUT IT STANDS FIRM THAT IRAN IS FUNNELING WEAPONS AND SUPPORTING AL KAIDA AND SUPPORTING THE INSURGENCY;
(short pause)
WOULD YOU SUPPORT THE WAR IN IRAN?"

WHAT THE FUCK KIND OF JOURNALISM IS THIS? WHY WOULD A US ARMY GENERAL BE INVITED TO A MEETING BETWEEN IRANIAN AND IRAQI POLITICIANS?

Why wouldn't he shake Ahmadinejad's hand and look him in the eye? What, is the Iranian president a medusa, greek mythology creature?

It STANDS FIRM that Iran supplies al Kaida and insurgency in Iraq?
Where does it stand firm - in AIPAC, PNAC and AEI "think tanks", where people masturbate to the thought that American soldiers will die in yet another war for that "small Middle Eastern country" which shall not be named?

Spotted this on Crooks and Liars and had to post a comment on it.

But this deserves a post of its own here.

Bonus Material:
Kyra Phillips is something else entirely.

Off UK's Guardian newspaper.

In an April 16, 2003 Kyra Phillips did an interview with Dr Imad al-Najada, the doctor of Ali Ismail Abbas, a 12-year-old boy who lost 15 relatives and both arms when a US missile hit his home in Baghdad.

This is the comment from Joan Walsh, news editor of the online magazine Salon on said interview:

"CNN hit rock bottom on Wednesday morning, when anchor Kyra Phillips interviewed Ali's doctor in Kuwait, Dr Imad al- Najada explained that, although Ali told reporters he was grateful for his treatment, he also hopes no other 'children in the war will suffer like what he suffered'.

Phillips seemed shocked by Ali's apparent inability to understand we were only trying to help him. 'Doctor, does he understand why this war took place? Has he talked about Operation Iraqi Freedom and the meaning. Does he understand it?'"

What is she, a professional cheerleader for war and human suffering?

We already have one - he is our president.

That;s why I just cruise the blogs these days -- because they are the only ones telling the truth.

Reader, maybe you should go on to my must view sites and take a look.

In fact, no maybe about it; go there now!
