Bush's Legacy

One word: TORTURE!

"Bush vetoes ban on waterboarding "

"by Jennifer Loven, Associated Press | March 9, 2008

WASHINGTON - President Bush said yesterday he vetoed legislation that would ban the CIA from using harsh interrogation methods such as waterboarding to break suspected terrorists because it would end practices that have prevented attacks.

Bush, in his weekly radio address taped for broadcast yesterday:

"The bill Congress sent me would take away one of the most valuable tools in the war on terror. So today I vetoed it. This is no time for Congress to abandon practices that have a proven track record of keeping America safe."

I'm so tired of his damn lying!!!

9/11 was an INSIDE JOB, directed by "Al-CIA-Duh" and the Mossad and the WHOLE WORLD KNOWS IT!!!!

.... House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Democrat of California, said Congress would work to override Bush's veto next week:

"In the final analysis, our ability to lead the world will depend not only on our military might, but on our moral authority."

Oh, we have ALREADY LOST THAT and will NEVER GET IT BACK for DECADES -- and YOU HELPED, Nan!!!!!!!

Nancy Pelosi Approved Torture

All ELECTION YEAR BULLSHIT then!!!!!

.... Jennifer Daskal, senior counterterrorism counsel at Human Rights Watch, said Bush "will go down in history as the torture president"

.... Bush:

"We created alternative procedures to question the most dangerous Al Qaeda operatives, particularly those who might have knowledge of attacks planned on our homeland. If we were to shut down this program and restrict the CIA to methods in the field manual, we could lose vital information from senior Al Qaeda terrorists, and that could cost American lives."

Well, if ANYTHING HAPPENS, you guys should KNOW ALL ABOUT IT THEN, asshole!!!!!!!!!!

How much longer you gonna eat government- and MSM-promulgated shit, folks?

The New York Times describes the whole "debate"
this way:

"President Bush on Saturday further cemented his legacy of fighting for strong executive powers..."

Which is why I no longer purchase the New York Times, and why I hardly visit its website
