That Lying Mike Huckabee

Yeah, conservative Republicans are just falling in love with this guy -- especially once they hear about his new campaign manager.

"Huckabee hires former Reagan adviser; 'Bare knuckles' brawler, Rollins eyes a N.H. win" by Michael Kranish/Boston Globe December 15, 2007

CONCORD, N.H. - Even as his ambitions expand, Mike Huckabee appeared rattled earlier yesterday by two weeks of attacks on his record from Romney and other rivals, who had ignored the former Arkansas governor until he started racing past them in some polls. Huckabee tried to joke about the scrutiny, saying he has been accused of involvement in the Lindbergh baby kidnapping and "being complicit in the participation of the JFK assassination."

WTF?

It's o.k. for this fundamentalist nutball to crack wise about "conspiracies," huh?

Read on, reader, to see what a LYING SCUMBAG BUCKAHEE IS!!!!

Huckabee's comment, in what seemed like an awkward aside during an otherwise routine campaign appearance at a wire factory in Boscawen, underscored the transition that Huckabee is trying to make from being a back-of-the-pack asterisk just a couple of months ago to being the front-runner under the microscope.

Huckabee also acknowledged that his recently unveiled immigration policy represented a change from his prior position. In his campaign manifesto, "From Hope to Higher Ground," Huckabee wrote that the 12 million illegal immigrants should pay a fine and be allowed to be put on a "pathway to citizenship," under a plan similar to the proposal put forward by President Bush that failed to win congressional approval earlier this year.

Oh, BUCKAHEE was FOR AMNESTY!!!!!!

How about that, conservatives?!?!

Yup, ole BUCK ain't gonna win New Hampshire, no sirree!

At least, HE SHOULDN'T (read on, reader)!!

But earlier this month, Huckabee announced a plan that would require the illegal immigrants to return to their native country and then legally reenter the US before seeking citizenship.

"It is a change," Huckabee said.

But he said he stood by his statement in the manifesto that it would be impractical to round up the estimated 12 million illegal immigrants already in the country. Instead, he said his plan would amount to a "self-imposed" roundup of illegal immigrants, who would be asked to voluntarily return home without government action.

A self-imposed round-up?

You gonna turn yourselves in, illegals?

Pfffffttttt!!!!

Huckabee, who has joked about his lack of foreign policy experience, was criticized last week for not knowing about a new intelligence report on Iran's nuclear program. He tries to establish his credentials in the journal Foreign Affairs. In the article, which was released yesterday, he denounces the Bush administration's "arrogant bunker mentality," says it did not send enough troops to Iraq, and calls for a change in tone and attitude in US foreign policy.

Huckabee
writes:

"My administration will recognize that the United States' main fight today does not pit us against the world but pits the world against the terrorists."

I, for one American am sick and tired of that damn lie and fraud!

And this guy JOKES about foreign policy!

This FUNDAMENTALIST YAHOO who DOESN'T KNOW SHIT!!

Go back to chewing hay and yelling "Pig Suhey," shitter!!!!!!!!

Ed Rollins is a former Reagan adviser, a self-described "bare knuckles" brawler who promptly vowed to try to win the first-primary state.

No wonder Rollins was talking up Buckahee on Lou Dobbs'!!!!

The great "independent" analyst!

Pfffffftttttt!

Rollins's hardball style may seem at odds with Huckabee, who has portrayed himself as an outsider who is uninterested in attacking his opponents. Rollins, by contrast, titled his autobiography, "Bare Knuckles and Back Rooms." While Huckabee has lost 110 pounds, never tasted alcohol and never swears, Rollins is overweight, savors his drink, and salted his autobiography with profanities.

Rollins seemed to acknowledge the stark contrast yesterday:

"[The Huckabee job is] the only campaign I've been in with no doughnuts and no booze."

Oh, that's great!

The tee-totaler Buckahee just hopped into bed with the political devil himself!

And that's not all, readers

"Huckabee Faces Old Queries in New Spotlight" by LESLIE WAYNE

When Mike Huckabee became lieutenant governor of Arkansas in 1993, he complained of being burdened by college tuition bills for his son, the expenses of two residences — one in Texarkana and the other in Little Rock — and the cost of commuting between the two.

With an annual salary of $25,452, he said he was falling short in covering the bills.

Mr. Huckabee recalled in a 1997 newspaper interview:

It was costing me money to be lieutenant governor.”

To bridge the gap between his income and his expenses, Mr. Huckabee and a few close political advisers came up with a plan. They formed a nonprofit organization that raised money for Mr. Huckabee to travel the country promoting conservative politics to fellow ministers and attacking Hillary Rodham Clinton’s health care plan.

In its three-year life span, the organization, Action America, collected $119,916 from a dozen or so donors. Among them were former Senator Bob Dole’s political action committee, an Arkansas cotton gin owner who had been jailed for stock fraud, and R. J. Reynolds, the tobacco giant that had opposed the Clinton health plan. As for Mr. Huckabee, he ended up with $61,500 for his efforts before becoming governor in July 1996 and shuttering the group.

What a ACUMBAG BUCKAHEE IS!!!

And this is the "compassionate conservative" in the race?

Good Lord!

Ron Paul, readers! That's all I need to say!

The ONLY CANDIDATE about PEACE, LOVE and COMPASSION!

It sure as hell ain't Buckahee here!

As information about the secretive group began to leak out in 1997, Democrats in Arkansas pressed for the identity of its donors, which Mr. Huckabee has refused to disclose. In addition, he failed to report his Action America income on his 1994 financial disclosure form, resulting in a “letter of caution” from the Arkansas Ethics Commission in 1997.

As Mr. Huckabee moves to the top tier of Republican candidates, his involvement in Action America and accusations of ethical lapses while he held office in Arkansas are drawing new scrutiny. In all, at least 16 ethics complaints, including the one involving Action America, were filed against Mr. Huckabee, with violations found in five of them and a $1,000 fine assessed.

Yup, CLEAN as WHISTLE Buckahee is COVERED in the SHITSTINK STENCH and SLIMY VENEER of CORRUPTION!!!!

As for Action America, new details have emerged, first reported by Newsweek, about the extent of tobacco money behind it and the way the industry tried to use Mr. Huckabee’s rising profile among conservatives to create grass-roots opposition to the Clinton effort, which would have raised taxes on cigarettes.

Mr. Huckabee, who was president of Action America, has denied knowing that Reynolds money was behind the group — a claim other officers of Action America dispute. But long before Mr. Huckabee began seeking the Republican presidential nomination, he resisted efforts to identify Action America’s donors.

So, Huck is a LIAR, too (read on)!!!!!!!!!!

Mr. Huckabee, referring to the stream of questions from Democrats in Arkansas about contributors to the secretive group, told The Associated Press in Little Rock in 1997:

Comments like funneling money is where it keeps going, and that’s not what this is about. This is about earning a legitimate income.”

Translation: They were PICKING UP Huck's LIVING EXPENSES for "SERVICES RENDERED!"

Suck, suck!

About earning income?

FOR WHO?

Action America capitalized on demand for Mr. Huckabee on the conservative lecture circuit after he became lieutenant governor in an overwhelmingly Democratic state. The invitations, however, did not often include offers to pay.

Two political associates, J. J. Vigneault and Greg Graves, who were also consultants to R. J. Reynolds, a division of Reynolds American, approached Mr. Huckabee with the idea of creating a nonprofit so he could earn money from speaking engagements — and, at the same time, drum up opposition to the Clinton plan. Mr. Huckabee was the only person paid by the organization.

Yup, set up a non-profit so you can pay Huck! This STINKS!!!!

Mr. Vigneault, in an interview:

We would give him the Congressional districts to go to, and he would put together the pastoral meetings. He would talk about why the health plan wasn’t good. The goal was for the pastors to go to their churches and mobilize their congregation to say they are opposed to the plan.”

A perfect guy to order the pastors to tell their flocks to follow the government's
martial law orders, huh?

Tax filings reported in Arkansas newspapers show that Mr. Huckabee gave 38 speeches to nearly 4,000 people in nine states — but not Arkansas — in 1994 and 1995. Mr. Huckabee’s campaign said he steered clear of appearances in Arkansas “to make sure that his speaking events did not conflict with his ability to carry out his official functions as lieutenant governor.”

Even though they took him out of state, away from the job.

I'm tired of lies, folks!

Tired of the MSM and its GOD-DAMN LIES!!!

In the presentations, Mr. Huckabee promoted citizen activism and encouraged people to get involved in politics. Often it was a member of the audience who brought up the health care plan, which was stirring the country, his former advisers said.

Mr. Vigneault: “We provided the background, but he wrote his own speeches. He could pump the ministers up. He can talk the talk and walk the walk. He could mobilize them better than anyone I’ve seen.”

There you go! Another rigged presidency coming from Arkansas!

Must be where a lot of secrets are buried, huh?

The Huckabee campaign, in an e-mail message on Friday, described Action America as a “nonprofit set up to promote conservative ideas and policies” and reiterated Mr. Huckabee’s assertion that he did not know tobacco money was behind the group.

But Mr. Vigneault said Mr. Huckabee “absolutely” knew of the Reynolds connection. Mr. Huckabee not only knew that Mr. Vigneault and Mr. Graves were Reynolds lobbyists, Mr. Vigneault said, but he also met Reynolds executives in his apartment in Little Rock.

Mr. Vigneault: “There’s no way he could not have known about the money from R. J. Reynolds. If he’s saying he didn’t know about the Reynolds money, he’s been less than truthful.”

Translation: HUCKABEE is a FUCKING LIAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AmeriKa, your politics is shit.

This country needs new guards, period!
