Story Iraq: Blackwater and the Inspector

Scumbag is gone, but not forgotten:

"Inspector general to quit State Dept."

"By Anne Gearan, Associated Press | December 8, 2007

WASHINGTON - The embattled State Department Inspector General, who has been accused of impeding a Justice Department investigation of Blackwater Worldwide, announced his resignation yesterday, saying a poisonous political atmosphere in Washington deters people from careers in public service.

Howard Krongard: "Of even greater concern to me is the grave threat to public service posed by the current rancor and distrust [in Washington]."

After CRIMINALS like him fostered that CULTURE!

Blackwater Worldwide - a private contractor that protects US diplomats in Iraq - is alleged to have smuggled weapons into the country."

Nor is his brother:

There was a lot of insider trading before 9/11, most leading back to CIA front companies and operative Alvin "Buzzy" Krongard.

And about Blackwater:

"Some Blackwater guards given immunity"

"By Matt Apuzzo and Lara Jakes Jordan, Associated Press | December 8, 2007

WASHINGTON - Federal prosecutors investigating the shooting deaths of 17 Iraqi civilians have narrowed their focus to as few as three Blackwater Worldwide bodyguards and have given others immunity for cooperating in the case, the Associated Press has learned.

Or was told!

Despite the progress, the people who discussed the case noted concerns about testimony given by the four Blackwater guards. The concerns stem, in part at least, from the fact that Blackwater is paying one law firm to represent as many as 10 guards, raising concerns that their stories could be coordinated. The Justice Department tried to get the firm removed from the case but, in a closed-door hearing last week, a federal judge refused the request.

Think ANYONE will be held criminally responsible for ANYTHING while Bush is in office?

Blackwater LITERALLY getting away with MURDER!!!
