MSM Coverage of the Espanol Discusion

They butchered it, of course!

Ron Paul got the LOUDEST APPLAUSE for most of the night!

His answers were well-thought out and FILLED with KINDNESS and LOVE!!!!

And the "debate" was once again sabotaged because they limited
Dr. Paul's responses and time.

I haven't watched MSM all day, so I don't know what is going on there.

"GOP debaters beckon Hispanics; Immigration dominates session aired in Spanish" by Michael Levenson/Boston Globe December 10, 2007

CORAL GABLES, Fla. - Republican presidential candidates tempered their tough talk on illegal immigration and praised the Hispanic community's family values as they sought to stem the exodus of Hispanic voters from their party during the first debate of the GOP campaign to be broadcast in Spanish.

Much of last night's debate focused on immigration, as the candidates grappled with unusually pointed questions, such as what to do with the 12 million illegal immigrants in the United States, what to do with children who are born here to illegal immigrants, and how to defuse what a moderator called the party's "anti-Hispanic sentiment."

Many of the candidates said Hispanics are like many Americans in supporting a stronger military, family values, and pro-business policies. They also called for a crackdown on illegal immigration, but did so carefully, cognizant that the debate was being shown on Univision, which calls itself the most-watched Spanish-language broadcast television network in the United States.

The candidates spoke in English during the debate at the University of Miami, and their words were translated into Spanish simultaneously. A survey released Thursday by the Pew Hispanic Center showed Hispanic voters have been bolting the Republican Party in recent months, with 57 percent saying they are Democrats or favor the Democratic Party and 23 percent saying they are Republicans or favor the GOP. That 34 percentage point gap was just 21 percent in July 2006.

Representative Ron Paul of Texas said he would attract Hispanic voters by disentangling the United States from Iraq and other foreign missions:

"Hispanics, like all Americans, are tired of it - they're pro-peace. So they leave the party just like everybody else."

The whole world is except for some NaZionist and Neo-Con War Criminals -- and they just happen to be driving the events!

Paper cut the second sentence from the web.

Paul drew some boos from the audience when he said he would show Chávez "friendship," and allow him to talk and trade with the United States.

Of course the MSM would focus on that!

Of course they would -- in their uniquely biased and self-serving way!!!

Rudy Giuliani pounced on the answer:

"I actually agree with the way King Juan Carlos spoke to Chávez, far better than what Congressman Paul wants to do. Chávez is acting like a dictator and he should be treated that way."

First off, Rudy, how does a DICTATOR LOSE a VOTE, and secondly, if he can, then BUSH is a DICTATOR, isn't he?

Rud, ya' hear me?

And Rudy also LOST to
RON PAUL again (as in the 9/11 face-off a few months back)!!!!!

"Republican Candidates Firm on Immigration" by MICHAEL COOPER and MARC SANTORA

CORAL GABLES, Fla., Dec. 9 — Facing what will probably be their most pro-immigration audience of the campaign, the Republican presidential candidates stuck to their tough stances on immigration in debate on Hispanic television Sunday.

Representative Ron Paul of Texas did not appear to tailor his message at all, drawing loud boos when he called for engaging with Fidel Castro in Cuba.

Yup, the ONE TRULY HONEST CANDIDATE!!!!!!!!!

May GOD BLESS
RON PAUL!!!!!!!!

And DAMN the NEW YORK TIMES!!!!

Mr. Giuliani, who appeared on NBC's “Meet the Press" on Sunday morning for the first time this campaign, found himself on defense for nearly the entire hour. He was questioned about Bernard B. Kerik, who was his police commissioner when he was mayor of New York City and who was recently indicted; the security arrangements that were made when he began an extramarital affair as mayor; and his decision to quit the Iraq Study Group, which was supposed to come up with a way forward in Iraq, at a time when he was giving many lucrative speeches.

Mr. Giuliani was also asked, in light of the National Intelligence Estimate that found that Iran had suspended its nuclear weapons program in 2003, about the views of one of his foreign policy advisers, Norman Podhoretz, who has been a vocal proponent of bombing Iran as soon as possible. Mr. Giuliani said he would not eliminate the option of a pre-emptive military strike against Iran because it would build pressure for a diplomatic solution, but he added that such action should be taken only as a last resort.

Mr. Giuliani, known for testy responses to pointed questions as mayor, displayed in the combative interview a lighter side, as he often does on the campaign trail. He even took a page from the playbook of a Democratic rival, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York, and laughed off tough questions.

When the program’s host, Tim Russert, asked Mr. Giuliani about the work that his firm did for Hugo Chávez, the president of Venezuela, who has accused President Bush of genocide, and about other clients, Mr. Giuliani laughed hard, leading Mr. Russert to interject, “These are all accusations being made in a very serious way about your business.”

Ooooooooh, so Rudy DID BUSINESS for Chavez the DICTATOR!!!!!!

Mr. Giuliani, who said he would not disclose a client list for his private business, said the claim that his firm had represented Mr. Chávez was a stretch. He said the firm had merely represented Citgo, which he described as an American company. Citgo is the American subsidiary of Venezuela’s state-owned oil company. His firm announced that it had severed ties with Citgo last June, after reports of Mr. Chávez’s connection to the firm surfaced. The firm said the decision had not been influenced by politics.

At the debate here Sunday night, though, Mr. Giuliani had tough words for Mr. Chávez.

Giulaini, referring to the suggestion by the king of Spain last month that Mr. Chávez should “shut up.”:

I actually agree with the way King Juan Carlos spoke to Chávez.

WTF?

Rudy didn't tell Chavez to "shut up!"

He said, "WHAT CAN I DO FOR YOU, Hugo!!!"

What a SCUMMY LITTLE SHITLET Giuliani is!!!!

A SCUMMY LITTLE SHITLET!!!!!!!!!

America CAN NOT AFFORD a BELLIGERENT, WORLD-DESTROYING Giuliani presidency!

And yet the New York Times runs a ass-licking piece on it's FRONT-PAGE, readers!
