"Israeli strikes kill 5 militants in Gaza" by Sarah El Deeb/Associated Press December 18, 2007

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip - Israeli air strikes blasted two cars in Gaza last night, killing five Islamic Jihad militants, including a senior commander and a master rocket maker.

Not just a rocket maker -- a "MASTER" rocket master!

The target of the first attack was Majed Harazin, a senior Islamic Jihad militant in charge of rocket squads that have been firing at Israel, the Israeli military said.

Islamic Jihad spokesman Khaled el-Batch confirmed that Harazin was killed. Palestinians said he was a top commander for both the West Bank and Gaza, and he rarely traveled in vehicles for fear of Israeli attack. They said he was on Israel's wanted list for nine years. Another militant was killed and a third critically wounded in the air strike, hospital officials said.

Gunfire erupted throughout Gaza after Harazin's death was announced by Islamic Jihad over loudspeakers from mosques. An Islamic Jihad official called his death a serious blow to the militant group.

Islamic Jihad supporters gathered around the morgue and pledged revenge. "The blood of our comrades will be the fuel for the rockets that will bring death and destruction to the Zionists," another Islamic Jihad spokesman, Abu Hamza, said.

In the second air strike, shortly before midnight, the military said its aircraft targeted a cell that was about to fire rockets at Israel. Undercover agents took part in the attack, the military said, and the leader of the cell was killed. Two other militants also died.

Both Israel and Islamic Jihad identified him as Karim al-Dahdouh, known as a master rocket maker. The Israeli missiles obliterated a car on a narrow road, and rescue teams searched for body parts in a nearby grove.

The Israeli military often targets militants in air strikes, aiming for squads involved in daily rocket fire. Islamic Jihad has claimed responsibility for many of the barrages, including one that slightly wounded a 2-year-old boy."

The PRO-ISRAEL BIAS makes you wanna puke, doesn't it?

"Israeli Airstrike Kills a Top Militant in Gaza" by STEVEN ERLANGER

JERUSALEM — An Israeli airstrike on Monday night killed a senior Islamic Jihad commander and his aide as they drove in a car through northern Gaza City, according to Islamic Jihad radio and the Israeli Army.

The senior official, Majed al-Harazin, 40, was one of the most important Islamic Jihad military commanders in Gaza, and Israel had tried to kill him three times before, according to Islamic Jihad radio, Al Quds.

Two other Islamic Jihad militants died with him in the car, including his senior lieutenant, Jihad Daher. Six passers-by, including three children, were wounded by shrapnel, according to Palestinian medics in Gaza. The car appeared to have been filled with explosives when it was hit by an Israeli rocket.

Yup, but those are just Palestinians -- worthy of only a sentence, and never to be referred to again -- unlike the wounded Jewish toddler above!

The Israeli Army said that Mr. Harazin, wanted for almost a decade, was in charge of squads firing rockets into Israel. Islamic Jihad threatened retaliation in a statement on Al Quds radio. An Islamic Jihad leader, Khaled al-Batsh, said, “This strong Israeli strike will not go unpunished.”

Another Islamic Jihad spokesman, who called himself Abu Hamza, said, “The blood of our comrades will be the fuel for the rockets that will bring death and destruction to the Zionists.” Hundreds of Islamic Jihad gunmen gathered in the streets after the attack and fired their guns into the air.

The Hamas faction, which effectively runs Gaza after routing the rival Fatah movement in June, will also be under pressure to respond to the killing of Mr. Harazin. During Hamas’s huge rally on Saturday celebrating its 20th anniversary, the leader of the Islamic Jihad political wing was a featured speaker.

A reputable Palestinian poll released Monday showed that Hamas’s support has remained stable since a similar poll in September, before Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian president, attended an international conference in Annapolis, Md., organized to restart peace negotiations.

The poll, conducted by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research, showed that Mr. Abbas’s Fatah faction would still defeat Hamas in legislative elections, by 49 to 31 percent.

Think I believe a poll coming out of the Jew York Times, readers?

Bet they screwed it up! Probably 49-31 HAMAS!

It said Hamas' support has remained stable?!!

“The stabilization of Hamas’s popularity reflects an almost total lack of confidence in the peace process unleashed by the Annapolis meeting,” said poll organizers, noting that Hamas had recovered much of its popularity after taking over Gaza in June.

Not the way the stink Jew AmeriKan MSM reported it! Gee-zus!!!!

Some 1,270 adults were interviewed throughout the West Bank and Gaza for the poll, which had a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3 percentage points."

I'm tired of Zionist lies in my "news"papers, readers!
