My country, ’tis of Thee,
Sweet Land of Liberty
Of thee I sing;
Land where my fathers died,
Land of the pilgrims’ pride,
From every mountain side
Let Freedom ring.

-My country,’tis of Thee Lyrics
by
Samuel F. Smith – 1832

Dear America,
What exactly happened to your amber waves of grain?
What broke the mighty stripes of red, white and blue and caused you to give in?
What stretched you to your limits and dragged your impassioned feet into the blazing fires of destruction?

Can we always really blame our leaders for what has become of this once great nation?

No.

Dear America,
The masses have failed you and become nothing more than brainwashed sheep, feeling more in terms of dressed up celebrities and their sex lives instead of seeking knowledge of what remains outside our borders.
The masses have left you on your knees; a slave to colonialist tyranny, capitalistic bank dictators and apartheid regimes.

For every moment our leaders forget the beloved Constitution or refuse to grant us our inherent rights,
For every instant that passes in which the American people oppress others across their borders,
For every scream made by an Iraqi woman and child,
For every body in Afghanistan buried amongst hundreds of others,
We,the American people,will pay.

For every Palestinian stone, tossed swiftly at an Israeli tank America funded,
For every demolished home and empty stomach,
For every man raped and tortured in American constructed terrorist cells,
We,the American people,will pay.

Dear America,
There are a few among the sheep who are trying their hardest to remain optimistic in terms of your future, but it looks so very dim for you.
Our only hope is to take back our country, by any means necessary.
For as long as we are oppressing people of other nations we shall never be free.
As long as we are prohibited from indulging in our inherent rights of ‘life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness’ we shall never know freedom.

Dear America,
We mourn the day we lost you, for it was on that day that we also lost ourselves.
