""Turkey Bomb:

"Bomb Blast Kills 5 in Kurdish Area in Turkey" by SABRINA TAVERNISE

ISTANBUL — A bomb exploded near a shopping mall in the largely Kurdish city of Diyarbakir in southeastern Turkey on Thursday, killing five people and wounding more than 60, in the largest attack on a Turkish city in months, the authorities said.

The bomb was placed in a parked car and detonated by remote control shortly before 5 p.m., just as a shuttle bus carrying military personnel passed, Turkish officials said.

Smells like MOSSAD to me!!!!!!

The governor of Diyarbakir, Huseyin Avni Mutlu, said about half of the people who were wounded were soldiers, the state-controlled Anatolian News Agency reported. The Turkish authorities did not immediately name a perpetrator, but the attack came shortly after a Turkish bombing campaign against Kurdish militants, and it seemed likely that the authorities would suspect the militants.

As I said they would yesterday!

Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish prime minister, speaking in Ankara, the country’s capital:

Unfortunately, terror has shown its bloody face in Diyarbakir once again. Incidents like this will never stop us, or slow down our determination.”

And CUI BONO?

Cahit Kara, the driver, told the Anatolian News Agency in Diyarbakir the 46-seat shuttle bus was full, as soldiers were being moved to their residential compound, not far from the area where the explosion took place:

As we were moving on the Mimar Sinan Street close to the compound, a massive explosion happened. We were left in the middle of flames. I got injured in the explosion and was taken under treatment at the military hospital.”

No one on the bus died, he said, but two students who were studying at an after-school tutoring program did. The blast occurred in an area near a parking lot, a hotel and a shopping mall, called Galeria, as students were leaving after-school lessons, said the privately owned Cihan News Agency.

There was no immediate statement from the Turkish military, and it was unclear on Thursday night how, if at all, military officials here would respond.

Mr. Erdogan, for his part, said the attack would not deter future military operations:

Our decisiveness in this matter is intact and continuous. Our armed forces will continue this process with the same determination just as we continue with the same decisiveness on political and diplomatic levels.”

And CUI BONO, readers?

Notice how the Zionist press leaves out the Kurds entirely?

Not a surprise that Iz-ray-Hell would want to side with a fellow genocider, and that her AmeriKan slaves in the MSM would promote such.

The blast set a city passenger bus and several cars on fire, authorities said. Authorities reported that windows had been blown out of the buildings near the blast site. Diyarbakir, the largest city in Turkey’s predominantly Kurdish southeast, was last attacked in September 2006, when a bomb in a public park killed 10 people.

Authorities said they had reason to suspect the militants. A statement from the Turkish military on Dec. 31 said security forces had confiscated large amounts of bomb-making materials, including more than 1,000 pounds of ammonium nitrate, in an apartment in Diyarbakir."

"Car bomb in Turkey kills five, wounds 67" by Selcan Hacaoglu, Associated Press | January 4, 2008

ANKARA, Turkey - Suspected Kurdish rebels detonated a car bomb yesterday near a bus carrying soldiers in a Kurdish-dominated city in southeastern Turkey, killing five people and wounding 67.

Thirty soldiers were among the wounded in the attack, the deadliest against Turkish troops since an Oct. 21 ambush that left 13 soldiers dead and prompted Turkey to mass tens of thousands of troops on the border with Iraq, where Kurdish rebels have hideouts.

The attack appeared to be in retaliation for three air strikes by Turkish warplanes against shelters of the Kurdistan Workers Party, or PKK, in northern Iraq last month. The pro-Kurdish Firat news agency reported that PKK leaders in Iraq have declared big cities in Turkey targets.

So says the Zionist-controlled MSM, anyway!

The bus was passing a five-star hotel in Diyarbakir when suspected rebels detonated a remote-controlled car bomb, authorities said. Five civilians were killed, including two high school students who were leaving a building where they were taking courses for university entrance exams.

Yeah, this is definitely carrying the stink of Mossad!

The bombing, which was heard 2 miles away, burned at least four cars near the Dedeman Hotel and shattered windows of surrounding buildings. Firefighters battled the flames for more than an hour, and medics raced to treat wounded people screaming for help, private Dogan news agency reported.

Cahit Kara, the bus driver, who was among the wounded, told the Anatolia news agency from his hospital bed that the bomb exploded on the right side of his vehicle:

"We were surrounded by flames."

The blast occurred about 600 feet from the guarded gate of a military housing complex, where the soldiers - officers and noncommissioned officers - were returning from barracks outside the city, Anatolia said.

Diyarbakir Governor Huseyin Avni Mutlu:

"A bomb left in a car . . . was set off with a remote control. It was a very strong one. It was targeting a military service bus."

Authorities blamed the blast on Kurdish rebels. Police said two suspects reportedly escaped the scene, but authorities denied news reports that they were captured.

The PKK has battled for autonomy in southeastern Turkey for more than two decades, a campaign that has left tens of thousands dead. The group uses strongholds in northern Iraq for cross-border strikes.

Look how they imply that it is the Kurds who have caused most of the deaths, even though it is mostly Kurds who have been killed by Turkey!

Gotta love that Zionist propaganda organ known as the AmeriKan MSM, readers!

The Turkish military said it killed up to 175 rebels in the first air assault Dec. 16, but the PKK denied the figure. Turkey has carried out the strikes largely based on military intelligence provided by the United States.

The US Embassy in Ankara, in a statement:

"Today's bombing in Diyarbakir is a horrific example of the senseless tragedy that terrorism brings."

That last statement by the U.S. Embassy cinches it for me!!

A BLACK-OP FALSE-FLAG all the way!
