Maybe this will sooth some of Mitt's open wounds from last night:
Fresh from loss in Iowa, Romney is buoyed by big victory in Wyoming" by the Associated Press
January 6, 2008
CASPER, Wyo. - Mitt Romney captured his first win of the Republican presidential race yesterday, gaining most of Wyoming's delegates at stake in GOP caucuses.
The former Massachusetts governor won seven delegates, former senator Fred Thompson of Tennessee got two, and US Representative Duncan Hunter of California won one, meaning no other candidate could beat Romney. Caucuses were still being held to decide all 12 delegates at stake.
The win was a boost for Romney, coming two days after his loss to Mike Huckabee in the Iowa caucuses and three days before the first-in-the-nation primary in New Hampshire. Hunter, Thompson, and Representative Ron Paul of Texas also stopped by the state, but no candidates have visited in the past four weeks.
I heard Paul and Romney were neck-in-neck, but....
Wyoming Republicans also paid a price for jumping ahead. The Republican National Committee has slashed half of Wyoming's 28 national convention delegates. National party leaders similarly penalized Florida, Michigan, New Hampshire, and South Carolina for moving up the dates of their nomination contests."
So some of these contests are only going to award HALF the DELEGATES?
WTF?!?!
PENALTIES for VOTING?!
"Romney Wins Most Wyoming Delegates" by ADAM CLYMER
CASPER, Wyo. — Mitt Romney, the former governor of Massachusetts who is locked in an intense primary battle in New Hampshire, captured the majority of Wyoming’s delegates to the Republican National Convention as the state’s Republicans met at county conventions.
Mr. Romney won eight delegates, former Senator Fred D. Thompson of Tennessee won three, and Representative Duncan Hunter of California won one.
So did Thompson win two or three delegates?
See what I mean about the lying MSM?
They can't even get the delegate total right!
How can we trust them on anything else?
Iowa Republicans, who will have 40 delegates at the national convention, held a caucus on Thursday but elected no delegates. The winner there, Mike Huckabee, the former Arkansas governor, was all but invisible in Wyoming.
If the caucus elected no delegates, why did the AmeriKan MSM give it the wall-to-wall on its propaganda productions?
Oh, right!
By violating the dates allowed by the national party, Wyoming Republicans forfeited half of the state’s normal 28 delegates.
Mr. Romney has made four campaign stops in Wyoming. His wife visited several times, and his sons Josh and Craig stumped in seven counties on Friday and Saturday. Mr. Thompson, Mr. Hunter, and Representative Ron Paul of Texas have also visited the state."
I don't trust any elections in America, readers!
And why should I?
