"Scuffle Occurs as TV Pundit Tries for the Attention of Obama" by JEFF ZELENY
NASHUA, N.H. — After a rally for Senator Barack Obama here Saturday, a brief tussle ensued between Bill O’Reilly, the Fox News host, and a campaign aide for Mr. Obama, and it created enough of a stir for the Secret Service to become involved.
Mr. O’Reilly, who had attended a campaign event earlier for Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, sought to attract Mr. Obama’s attention along a rope line. With cameras rolling, Mr. O’Reilly was trying to shout a question to Mr. Obama. But a photographer who witnessed the scene said Mr. O’Reilly had become agitated when he could not move close to the senator.
“Move,” Mr. O’Reilly shouted to Marvin Nicholson, the national trip director for the Obama campaign, witnesses said. Photographs of the incident show that Secret Service agents intervened after Mr. O’Reilly pushed Mr. Nicholson.
The Obama campaign, like most of its rivals, is typically a fairly buttoned-up operation when it comes to aides speaking to reporters. But the campaign seemed eager to discuss this incident, sending Mr. Nicholson to the press area of the gymnasium here. Soon, he was surrounded by cameras and reporters.
Mr. Nicholson, who served as Senator John Kerry’s personal aide, or body man, four years ago and previously worked as a bartender and golf caddie, smiled as he answered questions from reporters, including one from Lynn Sweet of The Chicago Sun-Times, who asked how tall he was.
“6-foot-8,” Mr. Nicholson replied."

NASHUA - Aides to Barack Obama, one of two candidates to travel with Secret Service protection, have a policy of not discussing issues related to the senator's security - unless the potential threat is conservative talk show host Bill O'Reilly.
Secret Service agents yesterday separated O'Reilly and Obama aide Marvin Nicholson after the Fox News Channel personality grabbed Nicholson on a post-speech rope line in a high school gym. According to a witness, O'Reilly reached with two hands for Nicholson - who at 6-foot-8 had a slight height advantage over the 6-foot-5 O'Reilly - because he stood between O'Reilly's cameraman and Obama as the newsman called out for the candidate's attention.
Nicholson told reporters afterward:
"He started pushing me and telling me to get out of his shot. Then he said I was low-class."
Oh, INSULTS, too!!
O'Reilly, interviewed afterward by phone on Fox News, said he tried "to gently remove" Nicholson because he was standing in front of Fox's camera:
"We're sorry we had to have that little confrontation, but no one on this earth is going to block a shot on 'The O'Reilly Factor.' It is not going to happen."
