Ron Paul Rises From The Dead
By Ray | October 5, 2007
Just a few scant months ago, Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul couldn’t get onto a Republican poll even if he was a flag. Now, suddenly, Paul is making some serious noise.
The news this week that Paul’s campaign managed to raise $5.1 million dollars sent shockwaves through the political punditry on both sides of the spectrum. Even more shocking was the invitation by CNN to appear on television to actually discuss the issues, rather than stand there and receive cheap shots from professional douche bags like Sean Hannity of FOX News.
Check out the favorable coverage:
Pretty amazing rise for the non-flashy, straight-talking Paul. I cannot imagine a country run by this guy, if only for the fact that I never lived in the United States in the late nineteenth century. I certainly believe that Paul would do his best to return the country to a peaceful, more stable, and more prosperous nation. So many obstacles would stand in his way - certainly the media would do its best to destroy his efforts. But I am truly baffled that this message is not invigorating everyone who hears it.
So let me ask you - If Ron Paul managed to be elected President:
1. How many of his reforms do you think he could manage to complete in his term? Will he actually be able to end the war, abolish the IRS and income tax, and all of the other radical measures he proposes?
2. What do you imagine his Presidency would do for the internal mood and international standing of the country?
