Hey, they are just trying to corner the market on holocausts.
Mostly because they wouldn't really want to talk about investigations.
Six million dead, and it is case closed. Or is it?
"ADL local leader fired on Armenian issue; Genocide question sparked bitter debate" by Keith O'Brien/Boston Globe August 18, 2007
The national Anti-Defamation League fired its New England regional director yesterday, one day after he broke ranks with national ADL leadership and said the human rights organization should acknowledge the Armenian genocide that began in 1915.
The firing of Andrew H. Tarsy, who had served as regional director for about two years and as civil rights counsel for about five years before that, prompted an immediate backlash among prominent local Jewish leaders against the ADL's national leadership and its national director, Abraham H. Foxman.
Newton businessman Steve Grossman, a former ADL regional board member:
"My reaction is that this was a vindictive, intolerant, and destructive act, ironically by an organization and leader whose mission -- fundamental mission -- is to promote tolerance. I predict that Foxman's actions will precipitate wholesale resignations from the regional board, a meaningful reduction in ADL's regional fund-raising, and will further exacerbate the ADL's relationship with the non-Jewish community coming out of this crisis around the Armenian genocide."
[See, I don't believe the ADL promotes tolerance.
Every time they butt into something, it's divisive trouble.
And the Zionists are also defending a LIE.
Hey, I DIDN'T WANT TO KNOW!
So why you have to LIE about and invade Iraq, because that's what started all this for me.
And why won't the shit MSM come clean on truth?
Sigh!]
Tarsy, 38, said he had been struggling with the national position [not]... to acknowledge the deaths of 1.5 million Armenians during the World War I era as genocide.
The national office's three-page response -- which it provided yesterday to the Globe -- signed by Foxman and Glen S. Lewy, the ADL's national chairman:
"We have acknowledged the massacres of Armenians at the hands of the Ottoman Empire and called on Turkey to do more to confront its past and reconcile with Armenia. We will continue to press Turkey, publicly and privately . . ."
But the letter also makes clear that the national ADL feels the safety of Israel, which considers Turkey a rare Muslim ally, is paramount.
[No matter what lies or whatever you must promote or protect.
That's right, serving the HIDDEN AGENDA!
Hidden because it is a Zionist-controlled media, sorry to say!]
The national ADL leaders also said employees who do not agree with the ADL's position should not differ pubicly, but should resign:
"No organization can or should tolerate such an act of open defiance."
[Sig Heil!]
Asked how they would resolve the difference of opinion, both local and national leaders said they did not know.... The ADL was the sponsor of the town's anti-bigotry program "No Place For Hate" and, on Tuesday this week, the Watertown Town Council voted unanimously to pull out of the program.
At issue was not the program itself, but rather a tangle of international politics dating back more than 90 years. From 1915 to 1923, Ottoman Turks massacred as many as 1.5 million Armenians in what is now modern-day Turkey. Armenians, historians, and some European nations have recognized the killings as genocide. But the Turkish government has refused to accept the genocide label and the national ADL refuses to use it as well.
Officially, Foxman reiterated yesterday, the ADL has no position on the genocide issue... the organization [was] founded in 1913 to fight anti-Semitism, worried what effect passing the legislation would have on Jews living in Turkey. Critics say this position is hypocritical.
[And the Zionists were selling this bullshit lie during WWI also, if I recall correctly -- and I do!]
Aram Hamparian, executive director of the Armenian National Committee of America in Washington, D.C.:
"[Foxman] should understand that the truth of any genocide is not conditional upon political relationships. It should be dictated by truth and history."
[Yeah, that would really put ol' Abe in a pickle since his "genocide" is a phony-fake (see above links)!]
Grossman said Tarsy provided "moral leadership" and surely would have invigorated a new generation of ADL members in New England if he had been given the chance. Hamparian said it spoke poorly of the ADL's national leadership that Tarsy "was not rewarded, but fired for speaking the truth."
[Naw, the society doesn't work that way.
The way it works is TRUTH-TELLING = SCORN!!!
Although I am glad the ADL might be losing some influence.
That can only be a good thing.
The less of a grip Israel has on the US' political throat, the better!
Here's the Globe's galling take on the issue:]
"No synonyms for genocide...
ONE SHOULDN'T play geopolitics with genocide.
[Yeah, no shit! Look at where 60 years of a shitstink lie has led us!]
The executive committee of the Anti-Defamation League for New England showed sound moral judgment this week when it acknowledged that, just like the destruction of the Jews in Europe and the Tutsis in Rwanda, the slaughter of Armenians in the Ottoman Empire was a horrific crime against humanity.
All three genocides had particular historical characteristics, but they have universal significance as a recurring evil that needs to be identified properly so that humankind recognizes its early stages and takes action to prevent mass slaughter.
[Whooooooshhhhhhh. BOOM!!!
Was that another US air strike in some Muslim land I just heard whiz by?
Yeah, we better RECOGNIZE GENOCIDES as they are occurring, yup!
Got your warning, Globe!
What was that?
I'm sorry! I couldn't hear you over the sounds of INNOCENT Muslim families WAILING about DEAD RELATIVES and the sound of another US missile!
Oh, yeah, that's right, we are not counting OUR GENOCIDES like the Native Americans, the Palestinians, the Vietnamese, the Chinese, the ARMENIANS, and list would go on and on.
And you puke-fuck MSM types going to prevent the nuclear annihilation of Iran, or you gonna CHEER IT ON like the Iraq war?
Already know the answer; I see it in the news pages and on tv! Sig Heil!
It's appreciate the military day today at Yankee Stadium.
And so it goes. And so it goes!
Sig Heil]
But the national ADL apparently thinks that it can pick and choose among genocides.
[And so do you, Globe! You are!
Muslims experiencing it NOW, Zionist-controlled pukes!]
Yesterday it fired Andrew Tarsy, the regional director, for urging the national organization to acknowledge the reality of what happened from 1915 to 1917 in what is now Turkey.
The national ADL... does condemn the killing of hundreds of thousands of Armenians but can't quite describe this crime for what it was: genocide. The ADL says it is worried about the fate of the Jewish community in Turkey and Turkey's strategic relationships with the United States and Israel.
[Yeah, so fuck THOSE PEOPLE!
THEIR SUFFERING wasn't important.
Only the ALLEGED Zionist suffering is! Puke!]
But Turkey's treatment of its Jewish minority and its foreign policy shouldn't depend on a historical lie. If the national ADL doesn't acknowledge the genocide, it is complicit in a cover-up (Boston Globe editorial August 18, 2007)."
[HISTORY is a LIE!!! ALL of IT!!!
That's why I am so distressed on this site.
I am SO TIRED of being LIED TO, and I have found that I have been LIED TO the WHOLE TIME I have been in existence on this planet.
About EVERYTHING, right from the moment of birth!
And, yeah, I AM ANGRY about it!!!]
Here are a couple of opinions from AmeriKans(?):
"Israel and U.S. Policy: The Book and the Sparks (2 Letters to the New York Times)
To the Editor:
“Backlash Over Book on Policy for Israel” (Arts pages, Aug. 16) is truly frightening. Apparently, no one is permitted to even question Israel or American policy toward it without engendering a virulent reaction. On this topic there is more free discussion in Israel than is tolerated in the United States.
I am a Jew who loves Israel, but who also believes that its policies are counterproductive to peace and its own long-term best interests. Does this make me an anti-Semite? We can’t even discuss it? Does the Anti-Defamation League not see the irony of the book’s thesis and its reaction to it?
When Jews suppress the debate, they don’t win it; they just shunt it underground and out of earshot. And that is where true anti-Semitism lurks.

How wonderful that a book has been published criticizing America’s pro-Israel lobby. How wonderful that the pro-Israel lobby is defending itself. What could be more American than political controversy? Let freedom ring!

[Get with reality, folks!
Israel owns our political system -- lock, stock, and barrel:
"Every time we do something you tell me America will do this and will do that . . . I want to tell you something very clear: Don't worry about American pressure on Israel. We, the Jewish people, control America, and the Americans know it."
Case closed, reader!]
