Why I'm Not Here Again Today

Well, the press covered the address from the Oval Office just as I said they would.

I'm done with them. I will put up important warnings about upcoming war maneuvers and other such things.

The Iran crap is all booga-booga!

They are not attacking for 8-10 months, so we will have to ride out prop I guess.

Along with the up-and-down, dis-info "terror" threats!

Anyhow, here is why I'm not here.
I've read all the pieces and marked them, too, reader, and logged them in drafts; however, I just don't feel like get angrier and angrier analysis bullshit propaganda. I'm tired of the shit War Dailies, and here is today's exhibit A as to why:

"Bush Says Success Allows Limited Troop Cuts" by Steven Lee Myers and Carl Hulse/New York Times September 14, 2007

Inside the paper is this remarkable quote:

"Still, other forces of what came to be called “the surge” could remain and new ones could be sent, administration and military officials said Thursday. As a result, the number of troops in Iraq could be higher in the summer of 2008 than it was in the fall of 2006 before the surge began, a fact likely to infuriate Mr. Bush’s critics and upset even some Republican supporters."

[So it is NOT EVEN a TROOP CUT, yet it is being "REPORTED" that way!

Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!
]

Later in the article:

"Some Republican strategists, in fact, expressed concern that Mr. Bush even gave Thursday night’s speech, suggesting, on condition of anonymity to shield themselves from retribution, that it would have been better to let the general have the last word.

[If these people -- who are HIS FRIENDS -- are afraid of "retribution," what does that mean for the rest of us?

I am personally terrified this insane madman who need only declare a "national emergency" to assume his FORMAL DICTATORSHIP?

I am TERRIFIED, not of bin Laden or "terrorists," but of this MASS-MURDERING, WAR-LOVING MEGALOMANIAC that is "president" of the United States!]

Still, it has been clear this week that the Democrats have too few votes to impose any real constraints on Mr. Bush’s policy, leaving the war’s harshest critics frustrated and angry. With so many troops remaining in Iraq well into 2008, the debate over the war is likely to intensify during the presidential campaign.

Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, the Republican leader, on Thursday night expressed confidence that the Republicans could continue to block any effort to set a withdrawal date, and he said he believed that most of his colleagues were satisfied with the president’s approach."

Bye! See you when dipshit pops Iran!

P.S. Oh, I almost forgot (the shit War Dailies did), but the only Iraqi to die yesterday (or any other violence against Iraqis, apparently).

Even though
about 35 people are being killed every day -- on the rise over the summer -- and the number of Iraqis killed by the surge is around 300 per day, 10,000 per month!

As for the sheik, they don't know how he was killed:

Boston Globe website: "Pentagon officials in Washington said US forces no longer were providing protection for Abu Risha."

Boston Globe paper: "Abu Risha, who was in his mid-30s, lived in a walled compound of several villas that were hoe to him and his extended family, across the street from the largest military base in Ramadi (Robert H. Reid/Associated Press September 14, 2007)."

[Why the edit, Globe?

Because it would be awkward that the "Al-CIA-Duh" bomb was RIGHT ACROSS the STREET from a U.S. military base?

HOW COULD WE NOT HAVE SEEN SOMEONE? STINK!!!!

A real STINK!!!!!

From STINK REPORTING, too!!! Damn stink reporting!!!!]

"On Thursday, the American military said a bomb destroyed the vehicle he was in, but it was unclear whether it was a roadside bomb or a suicide bomber (New York Times September 14, 2007)."

[HOW COULD IT BE UNCLEAR?!?!

It was RIGHT OUTSIDE the BASE?!?

What, NO GUARDS on DUTY?!

Hence the "unclearness," and the possible "suicider!"

TOTAL SHIT IN THESE PAGES, and that's what I'm gonna wipe with today.

Later! Got an appointment right now!]
