War Paper Crimes: Afghanistan

Again, nothing in the Zionist-controlled War Dailies.

Wish I could say I am surprised.

"(CNN) -- Several armed militants including a "a local Taliban commander" were killed early on Friday during battles in southeastern Afghanistan, the U.S.-led coalition said. The fighting occurred in the Maka Khan district of Paktika province, where troops targeted compounds.

The coalition said in a statement: "During the course of operations, several armed militants threatened the force and were engaged and killed. A weapons cache consisting of AK-47s, rocket-propelled grenades, mortar rounds and hand grenades was also found in the area."

Four people were detained, one of whom was wounded.

Also on Friday, NATO's International Security Assistance Force said Afghan and NATO soldiers "killed a number of Taliban" insurgents" in fighting "during a failed attack on their patrol base" in southern Afghanistan on Tuesday.

Troops "repelled the attack using small arms and heavy weapons, engaging a number of compounds housing enemy fighters" and called in air support."

[Probably not being covered because we are LOSING!]
