The (under-reported) violence that occurred yesterday in that war-torn nation:
Boston Globe:
New York Times: "There was violence on Sunday in a Shiite neighborhood where both Mr. Sadr’s forces and the Supreme Islamic Iraqi Council maintain a strong presence. In Kadhimiya, home to Baghdad’s most sacred Shiite shrine, a car bomb killed at least three people and wounded seven more.
In Diwaniya, a majority-Shiite city in southern Iraq, the authorities found three unidentified bodies.
In Wasit Province, south and east of Baghdad, the police said they found six bodies with bullet holes in the head. Clashes also erupted in a southern section of Kut, the provincial capital, leaving one policeman dead.
And remember, that is with about 35 people being killed per day, although the real number of Iraqis killed per day is 300.
The American military also announced that there had been 70 confirmed cases of cholera since Aug. 10 near Sulaimaniya, in northern Iraq, and more than 4,000 reports of severe diarrhea and vomiting."
[Oh, great, the Iraqis are SICK up north!
Oh, things are SO MUCH BETTER in Iraq since before the U.S. invaded!
I am so sick of the lying shit media and politicians!!]
