I'm posting this commentary; however, please scan the linked websites I have to the right.
Reason 1: Overnight newscasts were all about Bush pulling out troops -- not mentioning that the 30k he is "withdrawing" he'd have to bring back anyway, no the news media presents this as a shift. The president listening to his lying general, who said the WH didn't tell him what to say and never saw his stuff.
Reason 2: The endless repetition of 9/11 remembrances for the wrong reasons. I heard some CNN puke call them FESTIVITIES! I even resent the phrase "celebrating the anniversary," which I heard. There is nothing to celebrate about 9/11 -- not until we get the inside job, false-flagging war criminals Bush and Cheney behind bars, and we free our Congress from the strangle-hold of the Zionist Lobby!
Reason 3: The constant repetition of bin Laden and the hijacker "confession" tape -- complete with bold, Hollywood-like graphics, 'eh, Amurkn shit-eater, of planes and buildings? I have had it with the propaganda, and I'm done with it. Done.
Reason 4: In the clearest and most blatant case of media manipulation, the Petreaus hearings were a farce, as is the upcoming speech by Bush backing his general.
Yesterday, there was NO wall-to-wall, cable-to-cable coverage of some ANGRY REPUBLICANS! No, the MSM media channels finally revealed themselves for the complete pressitutues they are. Oh, no, they are not selling a world view, oh, they are not pushing an agenda!
First of all, read this review of the Times' tv reporter, and the impression the general public got from the rigged and sabotaged House hearings yesterday. The fact is, although I extremely object to her tone, she is absolutely correct about the impression shit-eating shit-swilling Amurkn public about the hearings. And the lasting impression is the traitorous, incompetent Democrats.
The second part of yesterday is how the news media played up the testimony and built up the general. Given the Times' recent writing style "reporting" the news, this country is headed for martial law and a war on Iran. I have saved the drafts of the articles detailing how the honorable general put to shame the Democratic Congress. The press was so bad yesterday, and the problem is it is worse today. The bias in the coverage is unbearable, and they have lost me! This view will be confirmed below.
Reason 5: Mourning Joe came on and is really pushing the prop, because he said -- like Buchanan has stated, and he's right -- the Democrats are done. They have been beaten by Bush on the media and p.r. front, because those organizations work are about promoting the Globalist/Zionist plan for Empire! The fact is, the Democrats are not an opposition, and they are not against the war.
Otherwise, this war would be over and this government would be doing what we want, not meeting in secret, would not be meeting behind closed doors, would not be issuing secret executive orders late on a Thursday bypassing laws, regulations, and the American people!
Joe then cited a poll in today's New York Times that apparently -- haven't read it yet -- says that Iraqis want us to leave, but that they don't! They want us to stay, etc, because they are scared, etc. Apart from the lies about "sectarianism," which I have had my shit-eating, gagging fill of, this is SOME LIBERATION, huh?
Gee, I think even Shia could walk the streets under Saddam as long they didn't mouth off about the regime. Now, it doesn't matter what Iraqis say; they are frightened and in danger, huh? Or is the Times once-again pushing another of their shit polls?
Truth is, reader, other than the 180-degree, reflected truth the Times hides, couches, or omits, I don't believe a word they -- or ANY OTHER WESTERN MSM -- and NEVER WILL AGAIN!!!!
Then Joe goes on to the New England Patriots spying in a football game!!!! WHO GIVES A FUCK?!?! At this point, I am really starting to HATE sports and celebrities, and government and media even more, for SHOVELING THIS SHIT SLOP to the American people!

And yes, reader, Chertoff actually said we are safer from terrorism because his department has "increased border security and heightened screening of people entering the country."

Reason 6: So, I roll out today and expect to see a piece on the tougher hearings in the Senate yesterday. I'm already suspicious because of the slanted news coverage from yesterday, and the fact that the tougher Senate hearings were not given the same treatment as the incompetent House.
So, as is my custom for the years now, I purchased the Boston Globe and New York Times. I gently laid the Globe with my coffee and pens, expecting coverage of the Senate side of the testimony.
Well, I got it, and here is what enraging and inflaming material I was presented for the second day in a row in the Globe's lead front-page story:

WASHINGTON - President Bush will endorse the broad outlines of a plan to bring home 30,000 troops from Iraq by the middle of next year if conditions are favorable, a senior administration official said yesterday.
In a nationwide, prime-time television address tomorrow, the official said, Bush will accept the recommendations made by his top general in Iraq during two days of congressional testimony.
News of the president's decision came after General David H. Petraeus and Ambassador Ryan C. Crocker, the top US diplomat in Iraq, warned Congress that a quicker drawdown of troops would have catastrophic consequences for US interests in the region, allowing Iran to expand its influence and possibly seize territory in Iraq.
Testifying before two key Senate committees yesterday, Crocker and Petraeus portrayed Iran as a key reason to keep a sizable number of American forces in Iraq. Petraeus suggested that Iran's negative actions in Iraq are more significant than was previously understood, while Crocker warned that Iran "would be a winner" if the United States made a sweeping withdrawal of troops from Iraq.
"The Iranian president has already announced that Iran will fill any vacuum in Iraq," he said.
That's where the front-page, turn-in is, and then I get a big slap in the face!
Lawmakers who support the war seized on the assessment as a reason to stay in Iraq. "No matter what you think about how we got into Iraq, the fact is that we are in a battle now to save that country from being taken over by Iran on the one hand and Al Qaeda on the other," Senator Joseph I. Lieberman, a Connecticut independent, told CNBC yesterday."

"The Bush-Petraeus plan of 130,000 Americans in Iraq for 10 more years is not a reduction in our footprint; it is an insult to the intelligence of the American people to call that a new direction," House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, a California Democrat, said in a statement."
[Not only that, but the House under Nancy Pelosi's leadership has also been an INSULT to the INTELLIGENCE of the AMERICAN PEOPLE!!!!
Democrats are iIN FAVOR of CONTINUING THIS WAR, other wise they would STOP IT!
They are NOT LISTENING to AMERICA!!!
