Mad Joe

It's what is called "Morning Joe" on the Most Shitty News Broadcast Channel:

"Scarborough: Mass Murdering Iranians will be Popular by Kurt Nimmo September 2, 2007

"It is a sign we are indeed living in a state of political and social psychosis: “On the August 27 edition of MSNBC’s Morning Joe, MSNBC political analyst Pat Buchanan suggested that U.S. officials were ‘laying down a predicate’ for ‘military strikes’ on Iran. Buchanan claimed that an attack on Iran is ‘comin[g]’ and went on to assert that a military strike against Iran would be ‘a very popular initial move.’ Host Joe Scarborough agreed, stating that ‘a military strike against Iran initially would be extraordinarily popular with the American people,’” reports Media Matters. “Buchanan asserted that ‘if you took polls of the American people, they would put Iran right up at the top of America’s enemies list and much more fearful of Iran than they are of anything coming out of Iraq,’” in other words, the neocon voodoo trance is working like a charm.

However, according to Media Matters, while “Americans place Iran at the top of the list of countries most dangerous to the United States, a clear majority of Americans say they would oppose an attack on Iran. A May 2007 poll conducted by CNN and Opinion Research Corp. found that 63 percent of respondents said they would oppose a U.S. government decision ‘to take military action in Iran.’ By contrast, only 33 percent of those polled responded that they would favor U.S. military action in Iran.”

It is, quite frankly, disturbing to realize, if we are to be any credence in corporate media generated polls, that more than a third of all Americans want to kill untold numbers of Iranians. It is nearly as shocking to grasp the utter stupidity of the American people, as they seem to believe Iran is a threat, never mind Iran does not have an air force or navy and poses absolutely no threat to the United States. On the contrary, the United States poses a threat to Iran and has in fact already overthrown one democratically elected government in that country and imposed a brutal dictator on its people. If not for the Shah and his sadistic Savak secret police, trained by the Mossad and the CIA, chances are slim to none the mullahs would be in power today.

Not that any of this matters to the disgusting Joe Scarborough and Pat Buchanan, the latter who should retire from the political commentary business as it appears he is now quite senile. In normal, non-Bushzarro times, Scarborough would be doing the weather at a second-rate television station in Skagway, Alaska—instead, he is allowed to infect many millions of impressionable minds plugged into the Borg box.

Buchanan would have us believe “that [Sen.] Barack Obama [D-IL] and Miss [Sen.] Hillary [Rodham Clinton (D-NY)] and the others would be in a state of paralysis because I think it might be a very popular initial move. And elements of the Democratic Party would support—you take—[Sen.] Joe Lieberman [I-CT] would cheer his head off. He’s already calling openly for military strikes.”

I guess Pat doesn’t read the news much, or he missed Hillary’s speech before AIPAC a few months back. It appears, as well, Buchanan does not put much credence in research, as a simple Google search reveals Obama suggested “missile strikes” against Iran would be fine and dandy by him, as the Chicago Tribune reported in 2004.

Somebody, please, show Pat Buchanan the pasture, as he is now a complete embarrassment.

Scarborough, on the other hand, is not senile—he is a disgusting neocon, very psychotic and disturbed, and understands precisely what he is doing, although it is nothing short of stupendous he is allowed to say the following over the public airwaves: “The thing is—and this is how sometimes some of the people that write for The New Yorker or The New York Times or The Washington Post just don’t get it. A strike, a military strike against Iran initially would be extraordinarily popular. With the American people, it would. It’s just like Iraq. The American people are overwhelmingly saying that there is a connection between Iraq and 9-11. Seventy-five percent of Americans supported the invasion. And you would have the same thing initially again.”

In other words, the American people are psychotic, just like Joe, and they get off on the prospect of six year old girls crushed to death under collapsed apartment buildings brought down by cruise missiles at three o’clock in the morning. According to Joe, my neighbor relishes the thought of millions of Iranians suffering from dysentery and cholera after the Pentagon takes out Iran’s water treatment plants.

Joe Scarborough is one sick puppy and needs to be removed from television right now as a threat to the public order. Again, if we believe these corporate media generated polls, a full one-third of all Americans are sadistic cretins, no different than sadistic cretins in Nazi Germany who cheered on Operation Barbarossa, the invasion of Russia, resulting in the murder of around 20 million Russian civilians.

Of course, Operation Barbarossa led to the downfall of Nazi Germany.

Maybe the invasion of Iran—or rather cowardly bombing campaign—will lead to the downfall of the United States. Maybe, just maybe, after it is all over we can round up all the neocons, including propagandists such as Joe Scarborough, and hold our own version of the Trial of the Major War Criminals Before the International Military Tribunal, otherwise known as the Nuremberg Trials."
