A Great Way to Start the Day

Of course, it was all downhill after this.

Hey, we are talking about a divisive, agenda-pushing AmeriKan War Daily here!!!

"Number of teen mothers rose in 2006; Report says increase ended 15-year decline" by Cristina Alesci, Bloomberg News | July 12, 2008

NEW YORK - The number of US teenagers who gave birth increased for the first time in 15 years, raising what a health official called "a red flag."

And a heart HOO-RAY from these quarters, because I LOVE LIFE!!!!

The report detailing the rise also follows media-hyped celebrity pregnancies, including Jamie Lynn Spears, the teenage sister of singer Britney Spears.

Hey, why you picking on my girl?!!

Shari Brasner, a Manhattan obstetrician who wasn't involved in the report:

"Scenarios that were once considered taboo are applauded today."

YUP!! You are ON one site who feels that way right now! LIFE!!!!!

Babies born to teenage mothers are more likely to be premature, less healthy, and more often have health and behavior problems that may persist throughout their lives, Duane Alexander, director of the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, said. Young mothers are less likely to finish high school and get a job, he said.

At least they won't get drafted, right?

Jessica Sheets, a spokeswoman for the nonprofit advocacy group The National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy in Washington, D.C.:

"This is a wake-up call. The issue hasn't been in the forefront of people's minds."

Just like the blogs said! This is going to be part of the agenda-pushing for the 2008 election!

Abortion rates for women and girls fell to a 30-year low in 2005, the Guttmacher Institute, a New York-based nonprofit, said in a report in January. It's unclear whether the abortion rate affected the birth rate.

Well, I'll bet it had SOMETHING to do with it, hallelujah!
