Memory Hole: Israel's Ethnic Cleansing

(Updated: Originally published on November 7, 2006)

The other Lieberman is making quite a splash in the Israeli Cabinet.

I'm appalled, but at least the mask is off the Zionists state!

Heeeeeeeere's Avi!

"Israel's new deputy prime minister called for near-total separation between Arabs and Jews in the Holy Land yesterday... Lieberman said there was no hope for peace between Israel and the Palestinians, so physically separating them was the best solution... Israel should give Israeli Arab villages near the West Bank to the Palestinians -- stripping many residents of their citizenship in the process -- in exchange for Jewish settlements in the West Bank... The Arabs remaining in Israel would be allowed to keep their citizenship if they passed a loyalty test. Arabs make up roughly one-fifth of Israel's population (Boston Globe November 6, 2007)."

The best soltion, yes, and the FINAL ONE, no doubt!

But let's let Avi speak for himself:

"The answer is exchanges of land and populations and making a homogenous, Jewish country as much as possible... I don't knowwhy the Palestinians deserve a country that is clean of Jews... and we are becoming a binational country, where 20 percent of the population are minorities. If we want to keep this a Jewish, Zionist country, there is no other solution.... The source of the conflict is not territory, it is not occcupation, there is no settler solution... It is a clash between two peoples and two religions. Anywhere in the world where there are two peoples and two religions, whether it's the former Yugoslavia or the Caucasus region in Russia or in Northern Ireland, there is conflict."

Yes, the answer is a mass transferal of the Palestinian population so that a Greater Zionist Israel can be created.

Betcha Avi gets to keep his house "in a West Bank settlement."

What gets you the most, however, is that the problem isn't "occupation, it is not settlers. It is a clash between two people and two religions."

Then please explain how Jews lived in peace (and were actually protected by Saladin) with Muslims for centuries?

That the Muslims helped Jews out of Germany?

From here, the current problems seem to stem from the creation of Israel in 1948.

There had been a festering of the issue since the
collapse of the Ottoman empire after WWI; however, the colonial invasion of Eastern European Jewry and the consequences of that action have driven this current crisis, which continues to get more dire.
