Memory Hole: Hezbollah's Bloodthirsty Killers

(Updated: Originally posted December 5, 2006)

I just wanted you to meet Mr. Ali Mahmoud, and remember his son, Mr. Ahmed Mahmoud.

Ahmed was a Hezbollah Shiite gunned down by an "unknown" gunman.

"He initially thought of revenge, but backed down after a visit by envoys of Sheik Hassan Nasrallah and his ally, Nabih Berri... who said vengeance would only play into the hands of those trying to divide Lebanon.

Mr. Mahmoud, as he received well-wishers at a funeral hall, hoping that Prime Minister Faud Saniora will quit:

"They said my son was martyred for the homeland, and they don't want chaos but want all sects to live in harmony, to love each other. Then everything will be fine. We don't want problems between Sunnis and Shi'ites, Christians and Druse (Boston Globe December 5, 2006)."

No, and we sure as hell know who does!! USrael!
