Story Iraq: Yesterday's Reported Violence

Hiding it again, as usual!

Always "insurgent" bombs and "gunmen."

"In combat on Wednesday, three improvised explosive devices went off in Baghdad, killing seven people and wounding 25, the police said, in the worst violence reported in Iraq for the day.

A fourth roadside bomb blew up in the Amiriya neighborhood in western Baghdad, wounding a bystander. In the Amil neighborhood, the police found two bound, blindfolded bodies bearing signs of torture, a signature of sectarian violence.

[And we ALL KNOW who is RESPONSIBLE for that!]

In Hilla, south of Baghdad, three civilians, a child and two adults were killed in a firefight between police officers and gunmen, a security official said.

To the north, outside Baquba, members of a neighborhood watch group killed three insurgents who had tried to kidnap two residents, the police said.

Two additional bodies were found near Baquba. They had been shot in the head (New York Times October 25, 2007)."
