The Christian Right's Straw Poll

Hey, Christian-righters!

Ron Paul is ANTI-ABORTION!

Ron Paul is YOUR MAN!!

C'mon over!

We are all waiting for you with open arms!

"Giuliani tells evangelicals he offers 'nothing to fear'; Defends stance on abortion in shot at Romney" by Michael Kranish/Boston Globe October 21, 2007

"The sponsors of the Values Voters Summit announced the results of a straw poll designed to show which candidate has the most support among evangelical activists, but the vote was immediately engulfed in controversy. Romney narrowly beat Huckabee in the poll, but questions were raised about the validity because the sponsors allowed anyone worldwide to vote online for $1.

[I didn't pay a $1, and I never voted!]

The Romney campaign learned about that capability and last week urged supporters to vote online. Similarly, supporters of Ron Paul voted online in large enough numbers to give their candidate a third place finish.

[Then THAT RESULT is REAL, asshole MSM!

Quit telling us to "go to the web," and then dissing what you find, shit-tossers!!!!!]

Evangelicals make up an estimated 25 percent of the electorate. A recent poll conducted by CBS News of white evangelical Republican primary voters - a broader, scientific sampling of the electorate - found that Thompson led with 29 percent, followed by Giuliani with 26 percent, McCain with 15 percent, Romney with 7 percent, and Huckabee with 6 percent."

[A C(IA)NN poll?

You mean a SHIT POLL, right?!! In other words, a MADE-UP RESULT! That's what C(IA)NN polls are! They are the WORST lately!]

"Religious Right Divides Its Vote at Summit" by Michael Luo

"Mitt Romney edged out Mike Huckabee in the straw poll at the Values Voter Summit. But questions were raised about the way the voting was conducted — votes were permitted to be cast online as far back as August — and even top leaders said there did not appear to be any consensus.

Out of 5,775 votes cast, Mr. Romney won 27.6 percent; Mr. Huckabee, 27.1 percent; Ron Paul, 15 percent; Fred D. Thompson, 9.8 percent. Mr. Giuliani finished second to last, with less than 2 percent of the vote, and Senator John McCain of Arizona finished last among the nine candidates.

[He GOT THIRD!!!!

Ron is now a TOP-TIER CANDIDATE, no matter WHAT the shit MSM says!

Beats Thompson and McCain among Christian conservatives -- AS HE SHOULD!]

"The results of the straw poll in many ways only added to the confusion within the movement. Anyone who is a member of Family Research Council Action, one of the groups organizing the summit, could vote. Joining the group only requires a $1 donation. Mr. Romney’s campaign, as well as others, has been actively encouraging people to vote online.

[So why does his on-line effort, like everyone else's -- FAIL SO MISERABLY when compared to Dr. Paul's?

Could the MSM media be LYING TO US AGAIN?!]

And about 3,500 new people have joined the organization, on top of the existing 5,000 members, in the last few months.

[Ron Paul supporters!]

Out of the 2,500 attendees of the summit, only 952 out of 5,775 overall actually cast votes in person. But almost 600 of those who attended had already voted online.

Of the votes cast in person, Mr. Huckabee was the runaway winner with over 50 percent of the vote, trailed badly by Mr. Romney with 10 percent.

[O.K. If on-line voting is all pervasive, then Buckahee shouldn't do shit.

His "sampling" was miniscule IN PERSON!

Now, if IN PERSON means more than on-line, then please explain the crowds Ron Paul draws, and please explain his resounding vote totals if a free-and-fair election is allowed, MSM?

Can't have it BOTH WAYS, lying shitters!

And the AMERICAN PEOPLE want Dr. Ron Paul for President!!!!!

In the overall voting, Mr. Paul, a congressman from Texas, finished a surprising third, which event organizers attributed in large part to his online following. Mr. Thompson, a former senator from Tennessee, finished fourth."

[Only surprising to the MSM!!

Not the true news reporters -- the blogs -- and not to the American people!]
